Re: Seedstockers - Rucu Cucu OG Auto
Hey bro
Another autopot user seems to have had the same issues as me. He filled upto 2inches of clay pebbles on his subsequent runs then no problems...
http://www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?/ ... -autopots/
Maybe this is it...hopefully. I know for next time.
But now that I'm getting the hang (kinda) of hydro..maybe I'll step back in to NFT as I never really made a proper go of it.

@2-Scoops hopefully the bullet is here by the end of the week. How do I add it into my mix? Post all nutrients and then ph once everything is in. Or nutrients, ph then add bullet..
Cheers brother

You could always add some perlite to your coco, its a fave of mine, if i have it around i tend to add around 20-30% perlite, in fact its only this grow i haven't used it cus i acquired some clay balls from a mate after running out of perlite. But its always an option int it. Auto-pots is a top system that is faffing around free once set 99% of time
You cant beat coco if doing hydro its a slow starter but it gives you back as much as water growing, mostly without the worry you can have growing in water. Well thats my opinion anyhow.
Never used it, tis just that i was told its better than h202 which is similar but the silver bullet has added extras. But i presume way to use it add it similar to way you add h202, so add it last after ph`ing, but bottle will tell you. When I've used h202 in past i just added it an hour or so before feeding my plants after ec and ph is set cus its ph neutral. I think silver bullet is basically h202 with added silver or summink like so you prolly add it last after everything is done like ec and ph.

When I funked up my NFT grows..they literally grew like tree trunks man..huge fekkas. If I got it right it would be mental. I've got the kit..but I'm going to perfect auto pots first.
I thought NFT would be easier than coco..less waste?
I'm just thinking of overall costs as coco costs money and I ain't got time to wash it..mainly coz of logistics etc.
Bless up brother.

Re: Seedstockers - Rucu Cucu OG Auto
I normally run a 5cm (2 inches) worth of clay balls, works out to be approx 2litres. And I've never had lock out issues in autopots. Good luck on the next run

Re: Seedstockers - Rucu Cucu OG Auto
Understood bro. Thanks. I thought it would have been similR as roots sit around clayballs which hold moisture etc

The old school 10plant nft trays i used you couldn't really use clayballs they only took rockwool blocks. I suppose theirs diff types of nft these days feck knows tbh.
