You can work with 52% well enough in veg but ideally you want 65-70%ish. 52% in flower would be great

Brilliant, thankyou. How would I reduce / increase it? Opening the tent to reduce it or spraying mist to increase it?

My normal go to is a humidifier, however, i have used wet towels to great effect in small areas before. Just hang them in your tent or even lay on the floor. When warm enough i have even used bowls of water with a little fan pointed at them. But honestly i wouldnt worry too much. Your humidity will increase as they get bigger then in flower you'll be scratching your head over how to bring RH back down lol.

Do you have an extraction fan? and filter if you need to worry about smell?

Ok then in that case I'll wait before I start worrying about the humidity lol. I don't have an extract running as of yet, I've waited to get that last because smell won't be an issue for a little while. I'll be getting that at the end of the month...

That will help to reduce humidity anyway surely once that's going?

First night of using the heater, the humidity has gone up to 74% and temp is sitting at 23°c

The humidity I think will come down soon enough though - I added some water because it had dropped to 52% but I shouldn't have.

Everyone has been very helpful that's for sure. I now have a setup that I'm happy with, some base knowledge and I'm feeling confident about this year's attempt. After two failed tries previously on the patio I was about ready to give up lol.

This is a fantastic group of people here, I'm so happy I found this forum instead of giving up completely! Now I just need to get involved in those Sunday poker matches

Hi guys, quick update. Woke up this morning and they're looking a little on the droopy side. Tent humidity had gone up to 84% over night so I unzipped it for half an hour to bring that down to the 60's - would that be the cause of the morning flop?

If any of you botanical genius's have any ideas that would be great (or just some reassurance that I'm just being silly lol)

hi buddy get the extraction sorted asap you must have it even before they get smelly,air exchange is vital which dont happen well or quick enough in a closed environment without extraction and adequate intake of fresh co2 laden air,the droop is normal and will be more in the dark as they sleep and relax.

I didn't know that, I just assumed it was to tackle the smell. It's gonna have to wait for now but I'll just have to keep the vents open and door cracked in the meantime and hope for the best.

Worst case scenario I lose them and have to start again. Which will be a shame but it's all a learning experience I guess.

Critical Kush: 4weeks 2days (give or take)

Droop sorted itself out after I Aired out the tent and dried the pots out abit - feed day tomorrow.

They've grown some new leaves - that's about it lol. Until next week... Thanks all
