Looks a tidy harvest Duke. I don't think you could have got more bud in there if you tried.

Re: dukes drobes
The Bruce Banner sure looks a frosty type and a great yielder too by looks of it. Is this Seedstockers or Growers Choice ? I think i may have both in my seed arsenal to grow at some point. Give us a shout when you try out it let us know how it tastes Duke and stinks too. Cheers brother.

Re: dukes drobes
hi keeno it did get a bit busy in there which makes me happy!
hi jimmi yes growers choice tropical cookies and bruce banner, will smoke report later maybe possibly.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2023 3:49 pmThe Bruce Banner sure looks a frosty type and a great yielder too by looks of it. hi momma bear yes they are quite hard to photograph what with reflection from trichomes along with reflective insulation flashback is a problem.thanks for looking in again.
right well i shall start by saying sorry for the lack of updates recently i have been very busy/stoned since harvest and not "feeling" it for typing but have just sorted out the basics for the next run, some mystery here as some are unlabeled clones and another just appeared in one of tinas houseplants she planted in my used coco, there was 2 come up one auto one photo, this is the photoperiod in this post, auto got budrot and binned.
there is a clone of diesel jones double strawberry on its own in the bigger drobe it was far too tall and had to be reduced drastically to fit by severe supercropping with added tape and a big pair of waterpump pliers and squeeze all around stem till it pops then bend and pray at same time!
so far it seems i lost a single branch on one out of 3 getting same rough treatment,i call it sudden training.
these all got repotted and netted within 2 days of each other into a mix of new and reused coco cleaned by my eager army of earthworms,so i do not need to feed them for a week to 10 days even in coco giving them a nice gentle start to feeding as they have been previously both starved and rootbound in tiny 5 inch pots for about 4-6 months or so.
anyhow theres a few pics of the harvest from last run and pics of the new lot,sad looking atm but soon improve with some tlc,and a stick for whacking! thanks for looking in and reading if you did.peace
cheers all and happy growing!

Re: dukes drobes
hi all well pleasantly pleased i just destemmed and brown bagged the harvest from the 2 flowering drobes 3 bruce banner and one tropical cookies of just bud theres 770 grams! and considering the majority of both flowering time they had 250w hps ans either 120w qb or 250w qb dimmed to half power,i think the new climate controller just paid for itself!best £54 ive spent this year, smoke report will follow soon, peace all and thanks anyone who has followed this run,big love!!!!!!!!
just realised that figure doesnt include the approx 5 oz of trim and popcorn for tinas oil! wow.

Re: dukes drobes
hi jimmi the bruce banner is a ten week flowerer and the tropical cookies takes 8 weeks, the early test bud taken a week before harvest of the bruce banner no1 plant tastes and smells a bit like uk cheese, plant 2 bruce smells horrid like rotten garbage,no3 smells very fuelly like sticking your head in a can of 4 star! that one is going mostly for oil and a little saved for curing just to see.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 1:36 pmI did the pliers thing myself once upon a time way back in thctalk days i dont know if you saw or remember it but i did main stem right down low and killed all the plants lolzz. the tropical cookies is just like the colorado cookies auto from dutch passion i grew before but bigger and so solid it sounds like wood when you tap a bud and is one i will def grow again 5 oz under mostly 120w qb and side lit by the hps 250w which was over the bruce no1 .
the pliers thing is a risk on the mainstem def a no no! saying that some of the branches i did was as thick as my thumb and tough as feck due to the age and many previous scroppings in veg she would be impossible to bend without breaking any other how, trick i find is putting the tape round stems first and dont be shy about proper popping the stems before trying to bend them, all this was because i did not realise the bruces took 10 weeks so i fed the next lot up a tad earlier than i needed to and the buggers sprung up big style hence the heavy handed fast training!
so far it seems i got off lightly and only one obvious lost branch on a single plant, for a single handed grower i call that a win!
im looking forward to running a full up scrog in bigger drobe of a single double strawberry clone i been vegging for some time and filled 2/3rds of the 1 mtr net from day 1! pics later if i get around to it,cheers and stay well.
