Jack of Diamonds, 3 different expressions in top cola among 4 plants, gutted i managed to tip burn the smallest of em, lets u know where u are with regards to nutrition at least...

Will be looking to start harvest of the Jack of D in the next week or so. The Jack sk are going to 11 weeks then we'll see where were at. Was hoping to make this a 100 day grow seed to harvest so they still have anothetr couple weeks if they want :)

So here are the 4 Jack sk x Jack Sk... one or 2 foxtails but the lowers are done .. buds less dense than the jack of Diamonds and rascal but frosty the snowman aint got gothing on em when it comes to the frost ;)











Looking to take these as long as i can... pics taken on sat i think at 9.5 wks, we are now at day 71, today!

10 weeks is up and the first 2 jack of diamonds have been harvested! The rest of the Jack of D will come down in the next couple days along with the rascal.. i will try and leave the jack sk x jack sk another week or so but the combination of colder temps, higher humidity and some pretty big central colas have me concerned to avoid any chance of u know what so i wont be suprised if i chop em all before next week. Bar a few late plumes of stigma on one plant in particular, these girls are good to go ...

The plan to not top the plants and leave natural worked well but i shouldda trimmed a couple more lowers than i did as we have some floppy bottoms - i let the plants support each other but now the weight of bud is greater than strength of branch and ive moved a couple so theyve flopped a bit. I thought it be nice to see how they are 'naturally' and they dont disappoint really in any way. A nice range of shapes but all have super top colas with some having superb side branching, almost making a level canopy by themselves (like the one in background below). If they were topped just once i think they'd set a superb canopy very easily.













Now i have been able to get closer to the plants and give em a better sniff I can say some of the terps are virtually indescribable... intense, and insanely delicious ... mainly in the sweet/ floral / skunk ranges... cant wait to sit down with some dried flower and do some smoke tests.. this is the christmas present to myself i'm most looking forward to, by far !

I will be keeping some smileys gear in my seed collection for sure .. the genetics im seeing are as good as anything ive grown. (thats a lotta genetics and lotta growing) So hats off to smiley, cant wait to pop some more of his gear.
