Righty so that's 3 weeks worth of diary updates done.
Had a bit of a disaster a bit over a week ago, we had a power cut that lasted 10 hours which meant my plants in the last stages of flower had no airflow, it was lights out anyway so it didn't interfere with that but just having no fans for 10 hours is a nightmare as you can see on my fan controller.

Image

96% humidity is no joke, had to unzip all the tents and waft the bedroom door every half hour to circulate air.

Well the power came back on and I got the dehumidifier running full blast, everything dried out and I thought id got away with it.
That was till the day before yesterday when I noticed the tell tale brown leaf and my heart sunk, I plucked the leaf and sure enough it came straight out, looked inside the bud to find white cobweb, noooooo
Hacked that bud out and inspected (without touching or disturbing) the rest of the plants, everything seemed ok
This is the offending nug

Image

well that was a couple of days ago and ive been vigilant since. the plan was to push these on another week feeding finale while I defoliate and let some light in to finish.
All that's changed now, as soon as this barrel is empty over the next couple of days they are going straight into flush, need to get these finished asap just in case. I spent a bit of time last night hacking some leafs out and will do some more over the next couple of days then its just water water water for the next week.

Now this next bit comes with a warning
DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU DONT LIKE SPIDERS!!!

Ok so if your still reading then here's what happened.
I filled up my bottles from the barrel like normal so they are ready to pour straight in when I unzip the tent, I like to use 2L milk cartons for this so had 5x cartons on the floor full of nutrient solution.
Unzipped the tent and poured the first carton into the funnel no problem, second carton goes into the funnel and I got a glimpse of something dark shoot past, didn't think much of it as I see nutrient skin floating around from time to time so thought it must be that, with that the pipe blocked up and the funnel filled to the brim and started draining slow.
onto the next plant and it got even slower.
I went and popped the top hose connector off and looked into the funnel.
Image

sure enough I can see something in there, I know ill give it a blow out, so im blowing into it but nothing comes out, I grab a pipet and start poking it in the hole and boom this massive spider jumps out and tries to make a dash across the room.
can't believe how close I put this thing to my mouth, photographed here with a 2p piece

That's unfortunate mate. Do you keep your fans on 24/7? Since I started doing that I haven't had any botrytis or mildew at all and my place is almost constantly at 80% humidity, even with two dehumidifiers running. Before that I used to get botrytis almost every run without fail. Otherwise your plants are looking great.

Hey @sybarite, yeah fans are never switched off, running an ecotecnics fan controller so they just dim down to 50% when lights are out.
Trouble i had was a week or so ago we had a 10 hour power cut and rh went up to 96% in the tent, as soon as that happened i knew id start seeing rot, hopefully it doesn’t get any worse.
Going to chop tomorrow anyway and get them hung.

I remember someone writing that since they stopped touching there buds while in flower they stopped getting rot, can’t remember who said it now but i took that onboard and found the same thing till now
