First real grow (after 35 years of smoking)

Hi guys and gals,
firstly thanks for the comms.

So as you can see all 3 are really growing rapid, Gorilla Glue just wont stop growing shes around 5ft in height in my 1.2m room?!
So ive bent her, twisted her and now ive put canes in to support the bending, and tomorrow will be getting some garden string to start tie-ing up the colas for support.
Ive give up trying to stop her keep growing up.

Decided against any defloration atm on all 3. As they all look
ok so no point in stressing them too much, Ive also now added both lights with bloom AND veg swtiches on meaning total 1200w equivalent.
Dont know if the extra helps or not but thought why not, no extra heat and only a few pence extra per day on electric.

They all had the following feed yesterday -
20th august - 15ML CANNA A&B, 3ML RHIZO, 5ML TERPINATOR, 5ML SUPERDRIVE, 12ml CANNA BOOST, 8ML BUD CANDY, 10ML CANNAZYME.
Mixed in 5L of 6.2ph water. Temps 28-31, humidity 50-60%. ALL 3 1500ML.

Hi all just a quick update with multi photos.
No feed since 20th august, thought id let them almost dry out.
Will also be using BIG BUD for Gorilla Glue as shes at least a week in front of Bubblegum and Cheese.
Havent had or seen any issues, checked PAR/LUX/DLI for the first time today and all spot on.
28degrees and 50% Humidity.
Will be feeding in the morning.

Good job mate! That grow tent is pretty stuffed ;) next time you should consider some training maybe?

They look great Ming. A tip for bending the fuckers is to pick a spot on stem you wanting height and between thumb and forefinger just press the stem till you here a crack and feel the stem become crushed in-between your fingers, you can then gently bend them over 90 degrees no problem without the worry of them standing back up again, just leave them be once done it will repair itself within a few days and start growing like an S bend, but yes buds will all be under your light if done.

Hi again here with a quick update now DAY15 in flower, but obviously GORILLA GLUE is around another week to ten days in front of the other 2 due to being AUTO.

Thanks mafoo, well with Gorilla I will now be able to 'bend' her down to light more and yoyo, as I did squeeze stem of main cola by accident - but shes fine.
Im far too scared to do what you suggested (this time).
But 100% my next grow coming immediately following this grow will be lst/trained/defol... or whatever is needed.
But at least they are using almost all of the growroom - better than 3 short ass ones.

So no problems at all on all 3, all now flowering madly, and if you notice the pics of the close up bud sites you can see amber pistils (Gorilla G).
24th august - 10ML CANNA A&B, 3ML RHIZO, 5ML TERPINATOR, 3ML SUPERDRIVE, 8ml CANNA BOOST, 4ML BUD CANDY, CANNAZYME 7ML, 10ML BIG BUD, 10ML PK. Mixed in 5l - 1600ml Each.

That’s some first grow and it will only get better and better only been growing a few years myself like yourself after 30 plus years of buying over priced and mostly average gear

You could also maybe look at stripping bare up to bottom 3rd of plant of leaves and all foliage cus it really wont amount to feck all, energy from plant is then best used up top producing prime buds imho. You can remove up to a 3rd of plant quite easily without causing too much stress, but a good way to gauge what needs removing is look where its all near on pitch black dark when lights are on and take it to that point is a good starter for someone who is a little weary about tampering with plant.
