I always thought Can sounded way ahead of their time. This song was made in 1976, but sounds to me like it was made more than a decade later. Some of their earlier stuff sounds even more futuristic. I played some to a mate who was into hippy stuff like Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix, but he didn't like Can because they sounded "too modern". When I told him the albums were made in the late 60's/early 70's he was shocked and then decided he liked them. I highly recommend listening to their first four albums, Monster Movie, Ege Bamyasi, Tago Mago and Future Days.
