Re: Living Soil Organic Grow 75L
I've kept them going as long as I could.
I have ordered some coco and some Canna a and b. This room will now be a coco grow. Let's get growing at a faster rate (I hope)
This will be the end of this as I have already started picking away at the buds, couldn't go without much longer lol.
May get a few more pics upon some drying.
Now it's just waiting for the coco and nutes delivery.
Any mentoring and help towards that will be all good.
One thing I've been wandering about is run off

Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them to become what they are capable of being.β

Re: Living Soil Organic Grow 75L
Yeah I turned everything down on the light. Tossed some more crap into the soil lol.
She has put some more weight on but in my experience with a plant like this another week or two at most. I don't let them go to Amber on trichomes anyway so suits me.....
They'll be fully chopped by next weekend I reckon, then some vegging will go on in here. I may try and push another week but I think I'll be fed up by then lol.....

Re: Living Soil Organic Grow 75L
Mine's going a bit like that now at end of week seven. I have feather meal, so GHO suggested adding half a cup of that with the re-amendments to give a long, slow release of N for the next run.

You know I've not thought of feather meal. I usually chuck some blood meal down myself. More readily available.

Re: Living Soil Organic Grow 75L
What are you wondering bud?
In coco you need to get about 30% runoff each time you fertigate.
If your wondering how to get rid of the runoff easy you can build a system or buy a rhizopot system, all waste runs down hill to a sump(rhizo brain) where it is then pumped away to a location of your choice, mine goes into a 25l barrel which Iβll use around the garden or give away to people.
There are a couple of different manufacturers of similar sorts of system, they all do the same thing but with slightly different designs.
The brain works with a float switch that triggers a pump, when the water level reaches a certain height the pump kicks in, itβs on a timer though so when the float drops the pump keeps running for a little longer, could easily build it yourself if youβve got some circuitry/arduino/rpi knowledge
If you search on eBay for rhizopot trays I think it was you can buy the trays separately if you wanted to build your own system

Re: Living Soil Organic Grow 75L
The run off helps to stop buildup and keep things in check but it's not essential. You can run coco without run-off and just use a flush every 4 weeks or so. I've had some very successful coco grows without run-off.
