Well at end of shift whats point faffing around if your not getting problems with it, i know i wouldn`t be, straight from tap if it works.

My tea usually ends up with soggy biscuits in bottom of cup if that counts as biscuit tea. Eyy they do biscuit tea as well do those guys.
Exactly, if it’s not broke and all that.
Yeah just realised it was Yorkshire tea that makes the biscuit tea we drink lol

Yeah our water is kettle killer stuff!!
Awful isn’t it, when we got the ro we’d watch the kettle descale itself each boil till the point there’s nothing left except a shiny stainless steel bottom.

Week 8

A+B = 1.5ml/L
Silicon = 0.5ml/L
Boost = 0.5ml/L
Fulvic = 1.2ml/L

E.C = 1.4
P.H = 5.8

Week 1 - Flower Initiation

Can't believe it's Sunday already, Oh well I bring good news, It's the start of week 8 and today is the day we go 12/12 :wave:
The net is looking nice and full now, Bulb has been changed to 400w hps and will stay like that for the next couple of weeks to try and save a few pennies on the electric bill, Got a 600 to sling in there later.
Spent some time and lifted the net up and got in there with them and gave them a good trim, stripped away all the waste of energy lower stuff and thined out some of the canopy before re organising the plants and putting it all back again, lots of clambering around in tight spaces and the realisation that im not as young as I used to be.
They are starting to feed harder now too, I've been upping the feed a tad with every barrel now but they are starting to look a little pale, will jack it right up now while they start stretching.

After

Mother is doing well but was desperately in need of a haircut, She has been on a weak dose of just a+b at just under 1ml/L just keeping her green until a few days ago when she went on ph’d water.

Week 1 - Clones

Congratulations, lots of baby cheeses, Will only need the best 4 from these any others will be re homed in due course.

After haircut and clones
Image

She got butchered, After cutting 12 clones from her there wasn't a lot left so decided to just hack her right back to nothing and leave her to do her thing, by the time I need her next there should be plenty of decent sites to take from.

Totally forgot about the dinafem babies, Just gonna sling that out in the greenhouse now and get it out of the groom. Haven't got time or space to be messing around with them. Might do an organic soil mix or something and let it grow all summer.
Image

That's all for now, Nothing more to report really.
Thanks for reading

Week 9 - Mother
Mum is doing well and has made a good recovery, she has been hungry after having just ph’d water for a few days but she’s back on 1ml/L with some silicon, fulvic and calmag just for this feed to try and perk her up.
Image

Week 2 - Flower Initiation
A+B = 1.8 ml/L
Silicon = 0.5 ml/L
Boost = 0.4 ml/L
Fulvic = 1 ml/L

E.C = 1.5
P.H = 5.8

Veg Time = 7 Weeks

This week has been pretty uneventful as expected, had a little bit of stretch so far but nothing major, managed to move the net up a little so got a little more clearance for feeding which is nice.
They have started feeding hard now and are starting to look hungry, when this barrel runs out I will up the feed to 2ml/L a+b.
Been defoliating every couple of days above and below the net, there are lots of nodes showing through but it is a little overcrowded in there to be fair.
Lights out humidity is going up to 65% at the moment, that’s with the dehumidifier running non stop in the room where the rh is below 50% my next move I think is to make some sort of manifold on the dehumidifier so I can pipe the air straight into the groom.

Week 2 - Clones
Today is the first day I’ve checked the clones since they went in the cloner, The day they were cut I had left the lid propped up a little bit but they wilted over within a couple of hours so dropped it back down and they’ve looked ok from a distance since, today is the first day checking for roots and this is what I found.
ImageImage

Not a bean, oh well it's early days still, had a couple of the bigger fan leaves go mouldy in the cloner, they have been cut off and the clones put back in, hopefully it won't spread

That's the problem I had trying clones in a zip lock bag. They just went mouldy.

Good luck.

Screen is filling up nicely Vador, it will be rocking full of bud in a few weeks me thinks.

Next time you do the clone thing that way maybe try scraping outer layer of skin/bark off from bottom inch with a scalpel or razor blade, see how that goes. I`m not sure how it will or will not tbh but i sure gotta a ninja vibe it will help them root through much quicker. Iff ya do try it with one or two give us a shout and let me know, cus i think it maybe a go`er doing it any cloning method tbh tis just i only take a few clones so i would like to know for sure b4 i take risk. Nowt like slinging all risk on your mate lol, but yes try it with 2 and see how you go.

Must admit it’s the first time I’ve seen them go mouldy in the cloner, I think it’s cos I left them covered for a week with the vent shut, the air probably went a bit stale and caused the dying fan leafs to go mouldy, that’s my theory at the moment anyway, I keep the vent open a tad now and it seems to be fine, got to be careful not to dry them out in there though lol.

Yeah I’ll give that a go next time, checked on them today and they are all rooting except 2 that I cut the stem a little too short, I think they’ll be ok but just a bit behind the others, some have rooted some have just started showing tiny white cotton patches where the roots are appearing, so that 8 or 9 days to beat from cut to root
I’ll do half with the bottom scraped and the other 6 without, then try half with the leafs tipped and half without and see if anything makes a blind bit of difference 3 of each 12 in total, should give some pretty fair results

Yeah getting there bud, really starting to like coco at the moment, haven’t had to empty a pot yet though so we will see, did make a right mess filling the pots up at the start, not as mess free as nft but the plants grow heathy with a thick stem, all in all well impressed

Thanks for looking in everyone

Cheers mate, yeah it’s felt empty in there for so long now, finally feels like I’m getting somewhere now though.
Thinking of flowering the mum in with these clones and getting something else going, might not bother with a mum from now on and just grow out some of these new seeds I won in the Christmas competition. Can always take cuts before they get flipped, decisions decisions, hard to know what to do for the best really.
original plan was just to keep one strain alive, now I’m staring at a stack of seeds that gonna take me years to grow through it’s a bit of a game changer, might as well grow them before they go bad
