@
Thank you and more than welcome to grab a chair.
Pretty much all my knowledge has come from this forum and its members, so without getting all hippy on you lot, it's basically a joint effort (pun intended)

Thanks bro, it's turning out great, fingers crossed it continues like this.
Getting the environment dialled in this time has really made a difference, using a VPD chart.

Re: Old School NL5 Living Soil Comparison Grow
Meanwhile in the veg tent, there are two clones of the NL5 (living soil cuts) and two of both Guerilla Fume phenos.
The bigger plant is a thin leaf Guerilla Fume male and there's a broader leaf male in the sandwich bags just showing roots along with a 2 x HashplantD cuts not rooted yet.
Props to @Captain Beefheart for his clone taking method, saved my bacon on many occasions (and kept the NL5 going over 18 months now).
The rooted clines have had myco added and a top dress of insect frass to give them a boost.
There's only space for one clone of each so there are four living soil 12ltr pots on their 2 week 'cooking' phase where the dry amendments were added and watered in. Spare weaker clones of each pair will be culled.
The plan is to keep the males in smaller pots, get the two Guerilla Fume phenos growing in living soil, then attempt to pollinate a branch or two with both males to keep the gene pool as open as possible. (Fancy talk from someone that has never pollinated anything before!).

Thanks for viewing.

Re: Old School NL5 Living Soil Comparison Grow
Cheeky update as the HashplantD stretches. It's becoming the largest plant in the tent, you can see the indica leaning nature of the ChemD cut Bodhi uses made more so with the 88G13Hasplant male, but she still stretches loads. Only 11 days since flip.
She's bottom left in case you missed her!

Re: Old School NL5 Living Soil Comparison Grow
Weekly update for the NL comparison;
End of week 5 since flip, living soil on the right, bottled notes in the left;

Living soil is definitely a bigger plant, but the bottled nutes seems to have slightly fatter flowers currently, possibly because there is less of them.
Darker leaves in the bottled nutes, not sure if this is because the living soil is showing a more natural expression, or is under fed, seems happy though.
Frost comparison the bottled nutes seems a little more frosty. This is the most dialled in the environment has been so the bottled nutes plant is the best I've seen her.
Frosty shot living soil;

Frosty shot bottled nutes;

Comparison with the Guerilla Fume pheno 1 (living soil NL left, bottled nutes NL centre, GF1 right)

All seems well, ticking along.
