NIce stuff bro your doing great
Thanks @Mr Nice, much appreciated.

Hoping this grow is the route to self sufficiency, it's the most I've put in the tent. I also grow for a mate with a tumour who refuses opiate based medication so self sufficiency has been difficult as I keep giving it away.

Hey all,

About time for another diary. My first diaries were an age ago and me finding my feet with this growing lark. Seeing as there's a lot of NL5 grows going on.

So now we have my favourite clone that I've run four times now of the original NL5, before it went to Europe and Sensi crossed it and made it famous over here.

These seeds came from The Green Stash in California and have been preserved by them since getting them from Indians from an island off Seattle in the late 90s.

It's the best weed I've ever vaped and takes you right back.

Two identical clones, Canna Bio Terra soil, the left plant is using the usual canna 'organic' nutes, the right plant is using living soil amendments after preparing the soil and 'cooking' for two weeks before planting.

https://livingsoilsfertiliser.com/

These guys sell small packs of amendments and have excellent instructions. The pot is smaller (11lt) than he 20ltr minimum recommendation for living soil with scaled down amendments. I am expecting issues later due to pot size but it works it will be a game changer for me. The amendments work out cheaper than the bottled nutes.

Plant on the left is the canna nutes, plant on the right is the living soil.

1 week after planting identical clones;

2 weeks 3 days and after the first amendment;

So far so good.

Thanks for checking by. :thanks:
Haha, how have I missed this...? Can I take a seat pleeeease :lol:

Definately following along here.

Thanks for taking the effort on this one @Tictok

Don't go there, I'm so pleased with it currently I'd be posting every day if I had my way! Probably get a tad boring for everyone else!

Took an age tracking down the original NL5 (pre Sensi) and this pheno is stunning. Not massive yields but the quality is there.

Just an update as there is a new addition to the flower tent. But before that, I figured I'd post a spotlight on the Guerilla Fume

I've ended up with two females and two males so the next run will be a seed increase.

Made by Skunk_VA of Lucky Dog Seed Company, and using his original Chem91 cut. This is the breeder who preserved the original Chemdog cut for over 25 years.

Guerilla Fume is supposed to be the closest to the original Chemdog91 in seed form.
If you've ever had anything with chemdog in it, it's because of this dude from Luckydog Seed Company. Without him, there would be no chemdog.

Two phenos,
Short pheno in the foreground, tall pheno at the back;

Image

The resin on the sugar leaves is like thick, sticky grease, with almost chemical lemon smell on the short pheno, pure chemdog smell in the tall pheno.

Short pheno (right) compared to the original NL5 (left), the leaves are thick, dark and exude power!

Group shot of the NLs and the GF;
Image

Then the new addition.....
This is HashplantD from Bodhi. This is the original ChemdogD cut crossed with Bodhi's 88G13Hasplant male.

For those that don't know, originally there were 13 chemdog seeds and what was found was the Chemdog91 and the ChemdogD along with Chemsister and others. ChemdogD is supposed to be more indica leaning. Here is Bodhi's cross few days after flip;

And the final group shot;

Many thanks for dropping in.

Thanks man, the ressearch is all part of the fun but I've had to stop buying seeds. It was getting out of hand and takes a couple of months to save for each pack.

Who knew gardening could turn into a seed buying addiction. :idn:
