So she is doing ok, I took a dab of newts and wet through the top to the cube to give a bit of a boost. just watching three times a day to make sure she is good. And the cooler is getting to 18Degrees finally!!

So saw a huge growth diff in 2 days so investigated and we have roots in water!!! I am super excited again!!.

So roots hit and she started taking off. I am having a little bit of an issue with ph, not sure quite why as it is circulating through cooler but I also havn't added any newts since the start so possibly the buffer effect has "worn off". But it is a good thing i know how to neutralize and how much at what level lol. So I had two days I wasn't around and that was the spike in ph hence two leaves that got some "burn spots". I monitor daily twice now. Cooler is working great and water temp never goes above 19 now and tent stays between 24 and 26 with an RH of 41%-50% depending on the time of day. I am seeing a burst of roots now and new nodes almost daily but they are super tight I think because of the light height. Will top after this next node comes and see where she is then. I do see a little edge curling and I remember this was do to lack of O2 last time so I might swap air pump for a bigger pump I will see how it goes. All in all I am happy with the setup so far and the experience I gained from my first grow is helping enormously. So without further ado, a week in the box:

So topped today. will do a newt swap tomorrow depending on PH today. Have been really having to play chase the PH so I think regular swap is the answer. Debating every week or every 2 weeks. Advice would be appreciated.




Also as you can see the roots are going nuts, a good problem to have lol.

You should be able to let them be in a hydro set up to do their thing and not be faffing with ph all time, If ph is between 5.5 and 6.3 (6.5max) in hydro you should be good, no need to faff around, summink to bare in mind hey.. Soluble silicon is as great product for help with keeping ph stable.

Plants look good, if they were mine I'd possibly up ferts a slight bit but tis all I'd do myself.
