Yes pk effects ec not as much as A&B but it does. You may get peeps saying add it last or add this first or whatever, like silicon i think its said add that first or is it last, feck knows i forgot cus it doesn`t really matter, i just sling it in whenever it comes to hand and always try add base A&B last to top up to correct ec but peeps say add A&B first too, its all a load of bumph and works same anyway round you add it in, the acid from ph- down always brings milky ferts back together clear like water. It`s when ferts are staying milky that its not best and they aren`t mixing rightly, but as said ph- down always sorts that bringing things back to good, i do it easiest and quickest way without faffing and its always worked out fine for me in donkeys years of growing.FarmerGiles wrote: āSun Jul 11, 2021 7:52 pmOkey dokey Iāll do it like that that then![]()
Cheers for the info I guess the PK13/14 boosts up the EC?

Thatās exactly what I was going to say I now set my water night before and usually add silicone but it just sticks to side so I now do water night before then add silicone have a coffee etc etc come back add all the other gear and it stays clear but yeah if not goes cloudybadd the ph clear again? Always amazes me that but Iām easily pleased.2-Scoops wrote: āMon Jul 12, 2021 11:07 amIt`s when ferts are staying milky that its not best and they aren`t mixing rightly, but as said ph- down always sorts that bringing things back to good, i do it easiest and quickest way without faffing and its always worked out fine for me in donkeys years of growing.FarmerGiles wrote: āSun Jul 11, 2021 7:52 pmOkey dokey Iāll do it like that that then![]()

I feel if you do water and feed early yes it goes cloudy and just sticks to the feed bucket.
I find you just have to add the Ph in very small amounts to get it just right, if not it plummets like a stone and you may as well bin the lot orā¦ā¦ i some times add 1 or 2 ml extra silicone and itās back to where it should be.
(Youāll probably give me a bollocking for that but oh well).

Re: First Timer coco with LEDS cherry 🍒 poppin with @2-scoops
I mix a 80 liters up in one go which lasts around a week or 2, it depends @FarmerGiles and it always stays at set at ph once set and is clear as water, it always goes a bit milky when i sling in silicon but a good stir and ph`ing it last brings it all clear like water. I do it all in one go, no set way of doing it really its just whatever i pick up firstly, but i try add base ferts last to top off to correct ec but sometimes silicon maybe added last, as said i dont really have a set regime of how i do it, peeps may frown at that way, but tbh i think they would be talking doo-dah ive been at it long enough to know it works anyway round you do it so long as you add ph- straight afterwards when you`ve done adding rest

So I was adding the new neuts amounts today and couldnāt help noticing some brown hairs on the top Bud of one plant, isnt it a bit early as Iām only just going into week 5 today or something I should be worried about @2-Scoops ?.
The rest if that plant all looks healthy still with no leaf drop on there other than an odd few right at the very bottom of the canopy put my mind at rest please?.

Re: First Timer coco with LEDS cherry 🍒 poppin with @2-scoops
Is it from one of tallest plants and direct underneath most intense part of lighting ? My thinking is it may or may not be from light being close. But in all honesty i just don`t know, it don`t look like rot, it kind of looks like hairs are scorched a wee bit hence why I'm asking if its one of taller plants. But yes if it is, maybe just raise light a wee bit not too much but around 14-15 inches works and keep that oscillating fan blowing in-between light and canopy to spread heat around more evenly in room @FarmerGiles hey....
If its just on that plant yes defo keep an eye on it around that area and also on leaves for turning shitty yellow in that area, that could be a sign of rot then, well if all that shit is happening, but as said it really don`t look like rot and i don`t think it is rot myself and pistils do turn so don`t sweat it too much atmo. Defo don`t go playing with it and touching other areas too until we know how land lies in a week or so and see what goes with this bit of buddage.
PK Boost is pretty harsh stuff as well so stick at 1/2ml a liter for now, you may notice leaves start falling under canopy in darker shaded areas, but that's nowt to sweat over as well.

Re: First Timer coco with LEDS cherry [emoji523] poppin with @2-scoops
Well there are other buds a lot higher than that one and they all seem ok another close to it is also look similar (basically two sets of buds on one the same stem only) but not as much it is 11ā from the light that particular one but other more normal looking ones are only 7ā From the light and totally lovin it so yeah Iām a bit unsure too.
***Just had another look and I reckon itās where the fans being blowing on it so Iāve re secured so it ls only blowing diagonally over the canopy I must of moved or knocked it on a watering session!.***
Just see how we go and yes only put 1/2ml of PK per litre today.

Re: First Timer coco with LEDS cherry 🍒 poppin with @2-scoops
Raise light a few inches then above this plant and keep it at that, lets say 13 inches above this one, different strains and all that crap, well it might be a bit more touchy or sensitive than others, but just do that and see how it goes, keep eye on it and leaves around it. Tbh its not worth worrying over atmo, Try not to catch it or move it too much hey as well. Don`t sweat on it too much, jobs a good en.
