Yeah I could definitely rearrange them two deep good idea.
I normally just pull the pot out and water them on top of a rack on a bucket which then collects the water for easy binning but the idea of straight down the shitter is very good too
So @2-Scoops I’ll use my net then three weeks into bloom and hopefully I’ll have a plan by then!.

Yes no need for net yet but generally around 10 to 14 days into bloom works which gives plants a week or so to grow tops through and support plants, but i`ll remind ya aboput that don`t just do it. You only need one net and the one hung at back of tent should do trick if it covers the whole room.FarmerGiles wrote: ↑Thu Jun 17, 2021 2:57 pmYeah I could definitely rearrange them two deep good idea.

No way will you able to remove them after 2 weeks on bloom without fucking all chi up of what i have a picture of the grow looking like in my head
2.5ml of both A & B for 3 weeks now then drop back to 2ml, just another reminder

Another one @2-Scoops im following an old Canna chart and they appear to have changed somewhat from a newer one I like to stick to a plan (this guide here) but I just wanted your opinion so basically max feed on each week or minimum or find a happy medium between min max for A&B etc so example it says EC 10/14 do I aim for 12 I know it sounds a bit anal but I like to do as I’m told and stick to a plan religiously!.

Re: First Timer coco with LEDS cherry 🍒 poppin with @2-scoops
If you wan`t schedual for Canna A&B and don`t wanna use an ec pen best one i found works a treat and theirs never a need to flush out excess salt build up from overferting is >>>>>>>>>>
Vegging
1ml of A&B for seedlings for about 2 weeks
1.5 of both for another week or two
2ml of both A&B right till yiou flip to bloom
Flowewring from day 1
2.5ml of both for first 3 weeks of 12/12. Cus they`re stretching like crazy fast and at hungriest they will ever be at this time.
2ml of A&B from week 4 till end of 6 or 7
1.5 of A&B right till you put them on water at end
pk 13/14 use 0.5 to 1ml per liter from end of week 5 or 6 strain dependant for 3 weeks.
Si > 1/2ml per liter add after 1 week above ground for 3 or 4 weeks and then 1ml per liter right till final flush when youi put plants on water before chop.
If your using single bottled 1 part ferts which generally tend to be around 1/2 strength of 2 part A&B ferts then maybe try doubling those doses, but maybe an idea and best to check N.P.K numbers on single part fert bottles against A&B bottle before doing that, although as said usually 1/2 strength or lets say more watered down but they`re certainly not half price, lets say a great big bloody con are those single part ferts hey........Well imo they are.
That feeding schedual will work for any A&B they`re all about same N.P.K values give or take. But if you follow those charts all your gonna do is create salt build in your medium caused by overferting which plants aren`t gonna use from your medium so build occurs and a flush of pots maybe needed or not. But those feed charts are way out and they will just cause the grow medium to become saturated with fert salts over time (salt build up), sling those feed charts in bin mate.

Re: First Timer coco with LEDS cherry 🍒 poppin with @2-scoops
Right okay @2-Scoops great stuff that put a lot of light on the issue and put things more into perspective for me thanks!.
I’ve pretty much done what you’ve said apart from the increase in silicon as I already had the water and silicon in and settling.
I’ve just mixed a batch up EC is at 1.4 and pH at 6.1 the run-off is
Adding 1800ml feed with 500ml run off (fed day before last) gives me now now 0.9 EC and PH 6 .5.
I’d never not use an EC pen or truncheon in my case if I’ve got it I’m going to use it better safe than sorry and all that.

Re: First Timer coco with LEDS cherry 🍒 poppin with @2-scoops
You could prolly give a little less ferts to around 10-15% run off.FarmerGiles wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 2:15 pmRight okay @2-Scoops great stuff that put a lot of light on the issue and put things more into perspective for me thanks!.

EC pens are great bit of kit, but in all honesty you best going by how plant is looking and if plant looks happy every day jobs a good en your doing summink right. But i here what your saying. I`m sure you`ll be slinging that ec pen in a draw sooner or later, tbh only time i use mine is when im doing a grow journal on here for purposes of others reading fert strengths if they`re following on.

That’s why I’m using the EC truncheon too so others can learn a bit too if they wish.
So 10/15% run offs ok then? I guess 500 ml I just had was about 40% run off.
And water everyday or is every other ok at this point they still feel heavy from day before TBH

I only feed every otherday myself nowadays (past 3 or 4 grows, its a new thing) but you could do it daily if you feel need too.FarmerGiles wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 2:29 pmThat’s why I’m using the EC truncheon too so others can learn a bit too if they wish.
