Cpt , re the algae contaminated wick , would putting the wick thru a piece of tubing similar to the black rubber fuel pipe off a motorcycle prevent the algae from growing? Thinking similar principle to the blacked out bottle..

I like to try do different things I’ll take full blame for the stain on the floor I put my pineberries there and the water spilled over the top

hiya bach / bachlet ? aye i rekon if ewe wrapped the wick in a black bag or summit like ewe say would half the algae but tbh she`s had to double wick the fuka today + i for 1 am amazed at what the mrs as achieved no pumps no airstones just a 2 ltr pepsi bottle shook twice daily .....BUT the plant never drinks more than 300ml before the res gets refilled see + the plant has never had any runoff funny that ennit.

Good evening everyone Betty was getting a little dry so I’ve had to add a second wick and run it round the top filled the res , shook the bottle what more to say lol

Evening growroom ok 2 wicks was a bit much there was a puddle on the plate , so plan now is to pop the 2nd wick in when she’s looking dry
Looking at her today she’s not a bloody bonsai the things gone mad
So I’m getting the feeling on the next seed I’m gonna abuse it to death with trimming
