If i was using ro water and softwater ferts tbh i can`t see point in using calmag, thinking on did you use it the grow i helped you out with ?

Why im saying 1.8ec is if adding calmag, theirs really no need ever to go over 1.2-1.4 ec with base ferts in that system and only 1.4 for first 4 weeks before dropping back top 1.0-1.2ec .

My previous dosages etc where including the calmag addition (which is about 0.4 EC) plus the base ferts which got me to my target of 1.4 or less depending on stage. I guess overall I was kinda under feeding them then, and hence why I didn't 'suffer' from salt build up so much.

So if you`ve not been anywhere near 1.8EC in total and are or have been feeding calmag around 0.4ec i think or seem to remember you saying ? Well its prolly nowt to do with calcium of magnesium deficiency and more like underferting with base ferts ec that`s prolly lower than 1.0 at a guess so in reality its not calmag issues and prolly more like underferting with base ferts, but your giving calmag instead and solving nothing when its more than likely simplist fix of lot and just a case upping base ferts and slinging calmag in back of a cupboard.

Tried taking some clones from the plants but forgot about the jiffy cubes and they kinda dried out!! Hoping they might pull thru....

So 1.0ec base ferts its generally more than enough for a vegging plant and when you flip up that base fert ec to 1.4 for 4 weeks before dropping it right back to 1.0ec and in doing that should be more than enough imo. But if its happening early in veg on 1.0 ec base then go with 1.2 ec and just drop back to that after 4 weeks of bloom, in doing so theirs no way should ya get overfert sympotoms doing that start to finish even with the calmag 0.4ec on top.

About calmag imho theirs really no need for using it and it could be dropped totally for second half of flowering period say 5 or 6 weeks into 12/12.

You right about flushing imo too, it can have adverse effects on plant dioing it mid grow for no reason.

I pulled off a sneaky couple of branches that have been drying curing and they smell amazing mate. I am really looking forwards to the long cure smell on these (my Water Melon Wedding Cake smells so nice now after all these months in a jar).

They do smell banging i said to my wife last night as I was burping the painkiller i said now j need a jar like this or bigger of animal cookie lol she said every one on TV and stuff are banging on animal cookies.... so my next run will deffo be animal cookies

Seriously mate I have loved growing these and they have certainly taken all my punishment! What with my killing the first batch (yes the Bonsai one eventually died by 'Minty Training' - was sudden and tragic - Shhh) but the two that remained also survived the Minty learning of the Main Lining.

The front plant obviously had some issues and I am still not 100% sure why? but I don't worry as pretty sure that front spot in my tent is cursed - the next grow will tell as I have already picked out which one will be in front so if it doesn't do as well it's something environmental - OR NOT!! - FFS ;o)

I did try taking some clones but they kinda went mouldy as they were mostly buds on sticks by the time I did it so didn't work out.

Oh, we are not finished mate, I try to complete my diaries with a time-lapse and the overall weight once dried etc and talking of which, I have just finished editing the time-lapse.
