Re: IS uva8
Tbh i can`t see point in uva light. Uvb for added stickyness, uvc for killing spores good for shit like keeping powdery mildew inline, uva does feck all from what i was always told and led to believe. It just seems another pointless bit of grow kit cus they don`t have a uvb or uvc lighting spectrum around in led form yet. I`m pretty sure led didnt go as far as the blue uvb or uvc light spectrum, it maybe the reason why those led makers are using blue uva spectrum. I might be wrong though, old fashoined a bit behind times so i shant go on about it too much.

Re: IS uva8
If im using my cfl x 2 uvb bulbs, well i use it 9 or 10 hours daily for last 3 weeks of bloom for that added stickyness effect on plants, but im not sure how it would work with uva cus its not as strong as uvb, but too much uvb isnt a good thing for the plant at all. Just summink to think about and bare in mind though i suppose.

Re: IS uva8
I use a uvb reptile cfl which I think is 24w, I started a few weeks into flower and have it coming on and off on a timer 15mins in every hour, plants sure do look frosty, I’d probably only use it for the last 3weeks of flower next time.

Re: IS uva8
I'm using a UVB/C 18w fluorescent.
Last 3/4 weeks of flowering on for 2 hours mid light cycle.
Last lot of Afghani was sparkling when dried.
