Multi strain coco grow with new led light.

Post by Redz Medz »

Afternoon GR420
Going to try keep a diary of this grow if i can. Using a new combo of gear this time so not sure how it will turn out.
Gear-
1500x900 tent
Telos 10 pro light
10" rvk extraction
6" intake (no fan atm)
Dehumidifier
oil filled heater
12" oscillating fan
control freak fan controller

Nutes and additives-
Buddhas tree range
Rhizotonic
Cal/mag
Great white/orca
Moonshine sunshine foliar spray

Ive got 5 strains germinating.
SEEDSTOCKERS
Candy dawg- Candy kush/Chem dawg x OG kush
Sticky fingers- Thin mint cookies x Sticky monkey
Maple sherbert- Maple sherbert x pre 89 skunk
Sticky monkey- Gorilla glue #4
HUMBOLT SEEDS
Lost coast OG- Pakistani kush x Lemon Thai
Image

I'll be using the 60/40 coco mix from canna, potting up from 10cm pots to 3l then 11l as final pots.
Ill follow the feed schedule from buddhas tree but with a ruduced amount, probably a quarter of said nutes for the first feed. Keeping ph at a 5.8.
The foliar spray was a gift so not sure if i can even use it with my nutes.
Anybody know much about it?
As ever all help is greatly appreciated, i know ill need it this run.
Just wait for the seeds to germinate now, two have cracked already so looking good.
Thanks for reading.

Very interesting indeed. Got my eyes on the Humbolt strain.
My suggestion would be to skip the middle pots and to go straight to final pots. It's coco, not soil so makes no sense to me using mid-size pots unles you're trying to keep them small?
I'd give the foliar feed a miss, you shouldn't really need it. I've looked it up and realised i used similar in the past on same cutting with/without. The only thing that happened was that foliar feed plant stretched like feck!

ill keep that foliar spray for my house plants and chillis then lol.
Sorted I'll skip the 3l pots, saves me cleaning them aswell 🤣.

@mic steele depends on number of factors mate. What is your grow area, what's your grow style, what fans are you using?

p.s 2 of these lights won't do much in your grow area. They advertised as 2000w but they actually draw 408w and seems to be using the old leds. Coverage will be ...crap :)
