I see every thing mate - but I did have to Google what the feck 'flower oasis' was and I guess it works? I kinda want some of that to make a stand for my pints which now seem to like 'falling over' randomly - but I would put it on the outside of the can ;o)

I'm thinking either 'Net pots with the pint can in the middle surrounded by clay pebbles' - or 'polystyrene with a hole cut out the middle' - still looking at what supplies are available ;o)

*Edit*

I went with the net pots in clay pebbles but not sure how they will turn out in terms of support but at least the drainage should be good:-
