Those net pots are huge compared to what I got - or is the camera just zoomed in ;o) I assume the difference is with the weight of the plant they support?

yes, the net pots are actually flood and drain flood pts, they would clip on to the lid of a 25 litre bucket.
they are, er 300mm (12 inch) from edge to edge
I use them because they have a wide brim which helps prevent the plants toppling over when they get bigger.

bob when feeding the tomorite i never exceeded 3 ml per ltr...but that was on a heavy feed day !!! sometimes i`d only go with 2 ml....depending on the plants needs and current state of play !! ....be aware bob that in the mud the yellowing of older growth down low,is a good indication the plant needs a feed or 2.... in other words a dirty plant will look a little ragged towards harvest !!! ive just fired 6 up in mud i`m never looking back :oik!:
