Just a quick update, they are getting way too big! I thought they would bolt but not this much. Still looking good though and the start of some massive tops. I'm sure I can see a little purple colour starting on one of the plants too.

Re: Electric Purps - Big island Genetics - (Organic)
Hey again all,
Things are plodding along nicely. They are drinking hevily! So much so that I'm struggling to keep up due to the slow output of my RO. I've just swappee over to bloom feed as they look like they into stage 2 of flower now. They have grown considerably more aswell :'( I've not netted up either so I'm going to have to go down the eazi roll route.
Some of the tops look like they're going to be huge! The plants have a real deep skunk smell. This LED is fucking awesome far. I'm well impressed so far.

Re: Electric Purps - Big island Genetics - (Organic)
Hey all,
Coming up to the end of week four now and they coming along OK. I think I've fucked them up a bit being slack and allowing them to grow so tall. I've got a purple phenotype that looks beautiful! Leaves and buds colouring nicely. Smells very old school kushy now. Reminds me of an old cut of original purple kush that was floating about for a while.
I've dumped a load of pollen on a couple of branches of the purple one so fingers crossed I get some seeds.

Re: Electric Purps - Big island Genetics - (Organic)
Hey all,
My apologies about not keeping up with this diary! Anyway, this grow is complete! It wasn't the easiest of grows and the strain isn't one for the beginner grower. It's a pig to keep happy, it's sensitive to change, it's unwieldy and leggy and it's all over the place in regards to pheotypes. At one point I thought I'd been given completely different genotypes but after trimming, it's obvious there are similarities across the board although cross pollination I'm not ruling out.
So, there was three notible phenotypes. The first is a deep purple to pink pheno that grew shorter than the rest and if I'm honest, was probably cooked at around 10 weeks. It's so kusky to on the pallet it's full of caryophyllene and myrcene. I've only smoked a tester but my first impression ia it's a very active, uplifting high.
The second is a crystal packed leggy sativa that looked like it could of gone for another week. This one is hazy AF full of pinene with undertones of skunk and kush. Beautiful plant!
The third is again a leggy sativa but is a lot sweeter than the others. Full of crystal and almost sickly to smell. This one tastes awesome and I woulf say it tastes like what I imagine the sweet Hawaiian strains should taste like. This one is a powerful high, active but almost paranoia inducing lol the sort of shit that if you smoked too much you may have a panic attack :)
Yield was 340grm bone dry. And I mean bone dry, overdried because I didn't realise my radiator was on :(
I'm glad I pollenated this strain because I will deffo revisit at a later date!
