Xbox One X or Xbox One S?

Post by The Aspie Toker »

I'm not talking about the XBox One Series X and S. I'm on about the XBox One X and S.

If you had to buy one, which one would you go for? I recently purchased an XBox One S but it was stolen, so I now have to get another, but second hand. Would you go for the X or the S?

Thank you.

The X box one x has a better graphics card I trhink and is more geared towards an in sane gaming experience where as the s is for more of a casual user or for home entertainment values/use. The X has the faster CPU too.

Thanks, mate. I may go for the X version as I cannot afford another new S version.

I've no idea, mate. I think the X is better than the S (Not talking about the new Series X and S) - You would have thought that they could have named the mew lot better. XBOX 2 or something.

The S that I bought was new (£249.99) but I can get an XBox One X for around £150 - depending on the auction.

AFIAK, The XBox One X doesn't come as a digital download only - something I do not want as I wish to play my older games.

Yeah my Mrs got an xbox last year in the sale, all download only. Only like 70 or something.

The download only version is no good to me.

I've been looking into that, but although my Sky hub has wifi, my PC does not. I don't think I can even install a wifi card for my PC.

I know my eyes are shit, but I can't see a slot on the motherboard for a wifi card. I became a Luddite around 20 years ago and this technology is lost on me. I've never been a fan of wifi and prefer ethernet. I feel more secure that way.
