I just can`t see myself forking out £70+ for a 6 inch wind blowing fan Cam. Stuff is just a lot cheaper your side of pond mate, i mean on Amazon UK they are £132 ($160+) but i did find them around £70. Seems a lot of cash for very little for my needs. All the AC infinity stuff is real expensive here, im too tight to pay those prices, maybe with a decent win on gee-gees one day ill invest but as is, no way. How much did ya pay in US i see them around $40 online ?
I paid $40 USA, so I understand I damn sure wouldn’t for 70 either hahaha
Maybe there is a market to start importing them Cam 😂

They really are things of beauty as well as being efficient the controller and an exhaust and circulating fan is on my wish list maybe one day, I bought a ram 6inch fan awhile ago and tbh I don’t think it’s worth switching it on its pants.

Would love one of these but as pointed out earlier in the thread, fuck paying £70-£130 have been hunting for a cheaper one for nearly a year.

Making plans with a stoner is like being with a prostitute. They tell you they’re coming, but you know it’s a lie.

Sucks that the price is so high in UK. After buying three different oscillating, clip-on fans and all having problems I think of this purchase as an investment.

My theory is that buying quality only hurts once.

I paid £24 for my clip on fan last year (not for this porpoise but i already had it so that's a win)

And honestly it's really good. Did so well during last year's heatwave, was clipped to my headboard and could barely hear it and could never run it full whack because it was so windy lol.

£70-£130 does sound like alot for a fan. BUT that being said - my tent is in my bedroom and if it's silent then that's a really good feature. I'll stick with what I have for now but maybe when it comes to upgrade time

Those fans look really good, Cam, thanks but I'm another UK resident, so too expensive for me at the moment - blown all this year's budget switching back from soil to coco. Maybe one day!

@GHO, how many decades might it take for them to pay for themselves? You could be right, my maths is shit. It's cool though, anything to save a bit of money!

I use two of these in a 1x1 m tent and they are almost perfect but they are battery powered, charged by USB so needs an adaptor. They are quiet on low speed but buzz a little on higher speeds so not great for a bedroom space - I only use the lowest speed and that is adequate. Not sure how long they will last but I owned another pair I recently sold to a friend and they are still going strong after being on permanently since I bought them in 2020:

I use the Ram 10" clip on fans..they're about a tenner and have a proper power lead

Thanks wutang, I've seen those but I think they are too big for my tent - need the space for buds ;). I have two of those little Amazon ones in opposite corners to create a sort of vortex. Not had any issues with bud rot or mildew since using them.

No sweat. Just bear in mind that some of them aren't designed to run 24/7 so you could end up burning them out, worst case they could catch fire. But that's worse case dude. I think they are relatively low voltage anyway

Yes, thanks, definitely good to bear in mind. The ones I sold were on constantly since 2020. Better beware! The only other thing I forgot to mention is they have small LED charging lights recessed into holes - I plugged them up with blutak.
