Help on first outdoor grow in Scotland

Post by Ilikeplants »

Hello everyone,

I have a bit of land in the middle of no where in Central Scotland that I'm hoping to grow 1 or 2 plants on.

Im thinking a super fast auto would be good but I have no idea.

Has anyone grown outdoors in Scotland before. How did it go? I'm looking for any advice and tips or suggestions you may have

I was thinking of starting it indoors in a bit filled with biobizz. I will post a photo of my indoor set up

Thanks in advance im a still a total beginner

I'm about as far south as you can get from Scotland but I believe you are on the right track with some fast autos and getting them started indoors. Summers seem to be getting better and better as each year passes. I wish you lick and look forward to seeing the results.

I would go down super soil and autoflower route
Start them indoors for 3-4 weeks slowly introduce them to the outside for a few days and you could still probably get 2 crops in Scotland with right genetics bro!

Thanks guys i have a rough plan now.
I'm gonna wait till the evenings are warmer as we are still getting a frost up here overnight. Then I will start some babies in my cupboard and after 4 weeks or so i will start putting them out next to my tomatos for an hour or so slowly building up to overnight then move them to the final flowering destination after a few successful evenings outside.

The only thing I'm unsure on now is strain/seed choice. I'm open to any advice and suggestions. Thanks for the support so far

Bigbadbillybob did an outdoor grow up their a few years back in 2019, i think he planted loads of plants around a million or summink like, he got about an oz of dry buddage back. Was a funny grow top follow. Nah seriously though he put a good few out and got very little back. Defo go auto route though yes
