Rosin pressing?
Hi guys, does anyone have a rosin press?
I’m looking at getting one myself, but being in the UK there’s not many decent brands here. I’m willing to pay for one to be shipped but I can’t afford anything stupid lol. Can anyone recommend any and if anyone has some inside tips and tricks feel free to share haha.
I’ve been looking at Dulytek 5 ton all in one unit, I think with shipping it comes to about £380 ish so not to bad. I would have gone with dabpress but they’re not shipping to the uk at the moment. I have pondered with the idea of going down the DIY route, being a machinist. But I wouldn’t have a clue what to do with the heating side of it. If someone has any ideas or can help I may go down that route :)
Cheers all

Re: Rosin pressing?
I thought you could purchase the hot plates separately.
Maybe googling that would help?

Re: Rosin pressing?
Yeah I’ve seen the ones on Amazon but they barely have any reviews and it’s a brand I’ve never really heard of so I’m personally staying away from them :)
Again yeah you can get the hot plates but they’re from a company I’ve never heard of. There’s devil press over here in the uk but they’re stupidly overpriced. The plates I can buy from dulytek in the cage but they’re not far off same price as the actual 5 ton all in one unit, I know they can take more pressure but for my needs 5 ton will be more than enough

Re: Rosin pressing?
Did you get a press mate ? Im looking at getting one myself but dont want to buy twice.. i have been looking at this
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-Ton-Hydrau ... 635-2958-0
The one thing im concerned about is the lever placement .. when its directly under the plates does it get in the way ? Are there any other considerations one should make when looking at a press to purchase ?
Pressure wise , from what im reading you dont really need anything over 2tonne , is that right ?
