My plant is a month old and I just tied it down for lst
My plant is a little over a month old and has 5 nodes, I topped it at 5 nodes and that was a couple weeks back so all kinds of shoots are growing in-between each node and I'm worried that not tying down the plant would cut into the yield but I'm also worried about the process in general hurting the plant.

Welcome to Growroom420,
The following link has some guides on using certain features like posting images - viewforum.php?f=121
A picture would really help to see what going on.
What strain is it and it is a Photoperiod?
Normally a good beating in veg, topping, tying down only benefits a plant a promotes a nice solid structure for flower.
These plants are far more resilient than we give them credit for.
Make yourself at home.

I'm just not sure if it's tied down enough. Ive been being super careful with this grow so it can be a mother plant. My goal is to start taking clones in the next month because seeds are rare where I live and this seed came from an amazing strain. I have living soil with worm castings, organic 4-4-4 fertilizer, and an organic molasses watering twice a week

Hey there. May I chime in here?
If youre keeping it as a mother, you may not bother with the LST.
You said you got it from a bag of street weed? Or was it a feminized seed?

I need to take clones for the lack of seeds available. But I'm also trying to maximize bud yield.

My lights have been on for almost an hour now and already the whole canopy has shifted, having tied the plant down I'm very happy with the results. I may have to tie down a couple more branches. But will the Lst help the plant get ready for when I take the clones and how long should I wait to take the clones.
