Re: Gelato 41 by Seedstockers
Couple weeks ago, wind storm came through and knocked the power out. So last Saturday, a similar wind storm was supposed to come through. My wife said we need a generator. Luckily I had installed a 220 line into my electrical panel a few years ago. I never did test it, but I knew this would be the opportune time.
So we picked out a generator from Menards, returned home, I prepped it, and about an hour later, the power got knocked out. At that point, I turned off a bunch of fuses that needed to be turned off and made my connection to the generator.
It powered the entire house for 10 hours until the electricity came back on. I’m lucky for this because I needed the air pumps to continue to run. But heck, this thing even powered the lights.
That’s a picture of my above ground pool with the pool deck furniture circled, inside the water, it’s not supposed to be there…

They are a lifesaver bro... Was a serious point of contention when we bought our home. Glad you got a backup.
That same storm tore my outdoor greenhouse to pieces. It's lying in a heap. Can't bring myself to tear it apart just yet.

Day 14 Veg
PH was maintaining a 6.0 level in the DWC. Now I hooked up the reservoir, which was at about 6.5 pH, and now the pH in the DWC is around 6.7. I’ll bring the pH in the reservoir down to 6.0 and we’ll see how that affects the DWC.

Day 21 Veg
A couple of days ago I topped both plants on the apical meristem only. PH of the tank is at 6.2-ish and pH of the reservoir is around 6.5-ish. I turn the lights down to 30% or 160 W about a week ago. Plants remain very squat.
It’s only been three weeks since I put these in water, but they stink like the dickens…
