Love those little clips I’ve used them a few times. They really help you open up the plant. Beautiful lady you have healthy and happy

Weekly update:
Changed lights to 12/12 today. Figure around the first week in April to harvest.
The Runtz Gum, Melonberry Zoda and Rucu Cucu are all 5 weeks from sprouting and have been topped twice. The Bruce Banner is 4 weeks and the Strawberry Gelatti is 3 weeks. All have been topped now. I wasn't going to top the Strawberry Gelatti but I could already tell this was going to outgrow the other plants quickly.
Bumped up the nutrient base and now I'm feeding every third day with 1.1 EC. Lights are still at 300 watts. I'll move them up to 400 watts in the next week. Dehumidifier is working hard. We have had a lot of rain lately so ambient relative humidity has gone up quite a bit. But things are able to maintain fine in the tent.
I've removed a few more large leaves that were laying on top of the grow medium. I have also removed the training clips. They seem to get quite tight and I wonder if it hinders the plant.

Re: GT's Winter mixed strain run
Garden update – Day 8 of Flower
Things are doing well. Tent environment is the steadiest I had since I started in the 4' x 4'. Lights on I have 79-80F and 55% rh. Lights off is 73-74F and 55% rh. I added an AC infinity 6” clip on fan for this grow and I believe my tent airflow is improved.
The Runtz Gum is a weird plant as it seems to grow which ever way the wind blows. It look like a kid with a mop head of hair and a bad cowlick. I have super cropped some side branches here and there where they were getting taller than top bud sites. I'm trying to have each plant's “canopy” as flat as possible while not worrying about the height plant-to-plant. I can use boxes or upside down buckets to boost any shorties. I can also adjust the height of the three LED's independently as well.
I have increased the nutrients and have added Bud Candy (Carbohydrates and magnesium) to the mix. Current nutrients are 1.25 EC and 6.1 ph.
My method of feeding might be unusual. I know that the bottom “reservoir” of my buckets (up to drain hole @ 2” from bottom) holds 11 cups. If I have more more than 10% runoff I keep feeding at that frequency. I'm currently feeding every third day. Once runoff gets to 5% or so I will go to every other day. I expect that in the next two weeks. It seems that once that happens the plants reach a stasis and I can count on how much they are using. Once I know that Plant A needs 9 cups and Plant B needs 11 cups, etc. it gets easy to know exactly how much feed they need and not have excessive runoff. Make the process including collecting runoff much tidier.
I am also checking for male flowers very carefully. I had two flowers about the size of a grain of coarse sea salt last grow that went unnoticed. Hence a seeds here and there in my current stash. I'm starting to believe that the incidence of intra-sex traits in fem seeds is higher than regs.
Anyway, here's some photos of the ladies. Please let me know if you have questions or tips to help. I am a firm believer that “none of us is as smart as all of us”. Go Niners!
Peace,
Toad

Re: GT's Winter mixed strain run
Quick garden update. We have been getting a lot of rain and humidity outdoors is currently 100% according to the National Weather Service. I sat and watched my AC Infinity app as the tent humidity started to climb and quite quickly. Having my dehumidifier and exhaust running full bore and still climbing. After trying some unfruitful attempts at letting more air into tent through the door slightly unzipped, opening the lung room door, etc. with no improvement.
It dawned on my that while it might be early, a good leaf strip would help. I did a pretty hefty defoliation on the bottoms of the plants and also tried to open the center (looking from above) for light and airflow. My RH in tent went down to 54% and stayed there for the rest of the day and through the night. The dehumidifier and exhaust are running at a much slower speed and things are cruising.
So, mental to to self: "Self, you can use defoliation as an environmental tool".

Re: GT's Winter mixed strain run
I took the plants out of the tent this morning to feed and perform a short arm inspection. Happily, nothing to report!

Re: GT's Winter mixed strain run
Weekly update – Day 15 of flower
I got rid of the Melonberry Zoda plant. It had male flowers starting to grow. Then there were four.
The Runtz Gum is really quite small. Stunted? I considered getting rid of it but it looks healthy other wise. The other three are all doing well. Plants are all going through a little more than a liter per day. At this point I am feeding every other day. At that I am getting minimal runoff. I have added Advanced Nutrients Big Bud to the feed. It adds P & K. The nutrients are measuring 6.0 ph and 1.5 EC.
Lights are now at 400 watts total. Lights on temperature is running 79F (26C) and 55% RH. Lights off Temperature is 73F (23C) and 54% RH.

Runtz Gum - small but looking okay (got to love the slogan on the ruler, LOL):

Rucu Cucu:

Bruce Banner:

Strawberry Gelatti:
