Nice @DIY.Rik will look forward to that
Will you be posting it in this thread?
Can you tag me if you remember please
Thanks
Don't worry you will see it! I will tag if I remember. You may see me around on Insta too if you're on there?

It won't be posted here, it will be in the diaries section but there will be some you tube vids going up too.

After a bit of reading around trying to figure out what all that means I realise your lights are really good, anyone else reading this that doesn’t understand it this next quote pretty much sums it up, oh and think of efficacy as efficiency

“Generalising a bit, efficacy for LED grow lights can be broken down to a few categories:

0.7-1.0 umol/J: poor efficacy

1.0-1.3 umol/J: decent efficacy

1.3-1.6 umol/J: good efficacy

1.6-2.0 umol/J: very good efficacy

2.0+ umol/J: excellent efficacy”

Invisible sun LEDs are great little leds. We're now at a point where most of the cheap ones are pushing 2.0+ and the decent ones are up near and even above 3.0umol/J

Not only that, they've really upped their game with the latest iterations. I always recommend them to people.

I haven't looked into the technicals yet. Too far down a rabbit hole about soil and microbes etc......

I think the efficacy bit comes into more how other LED manufacturers tend to fiddle what the intended output of the light is and what it can produce under it.

Invisible sun seem very clear about what their lights are capable of without a big fat lie :nice:

They seem pretty pro to me so far.

I do like the look of the new Evo lights.
Are they available with the driver remote? I like to keep the driver outside the tent.
I imagine that wouldn't be an issue. I asked for the dimmer wire to be extended so that was remote and that wasn't an issue. Customer service is well above par, especially for an English company

I do have one issue with my light though.

Ah, yeah, this is the internet after all.

Almost the same thing, but not quite.

I still stick to what I said above they're totally different.

Maybe this article explains how many use both words as the same thing, when they shouldn't

I think this explains something slightly different than efficiency which would be how much electricity you're using against the light intensity. Or the efficiency would be how much end product per how much energy used, so 1g per watt.

It's just a different way of showing how good the light is.
