Summer Gardening
I'm ready to harvest my indoor tent grow and plan to take a break over the summer heat. It's gets pretty warm here in Northern California so I'm not gonna fight it.
So, I've tilled and amended a 15' x 15' area outdoors and now have 5 tomato plants, 11 pepper plants and 20 red onion sets in the ground. We will add some carrots and radish plus a couple herbs. Finally some flowers to act as attraction for pollinators.
Hopefully this will keep me from getting antsy to grow before fall.
I'll post some photos once there is something to show.

An update on the garden
I have a short fence between my main yard and garden. Keeps my dogs away from fertilizing my veggies. LOL The fence is somewhere near on 30 years old. I needed to do some repair and rebuild the gate. I probably should have torn it down and restarted but I did a mend. So here is the patch job and new gate. I'm not a carpenter so it's a "good enough" job
Here's a sugar pumpkin:
Radishes that my wife planted:
A shishito pepper plant:
and a sunflower:

Re: Summer Gardening
Looks like nice ground for a nice rosemary plant. Had mine in well drained soil for about ten years now and she just keeps going .
