LED lighting for growing cannabis come in all shapes and forms. The main advantage of LEDs is the fact they produce very little heat and a lot of light per watt of electricity used however, the initial cost of buying them is a lot higher than the other types of lights.
You need to be careful when buying these though as some manufacturers lie about the wattage output to get more sales. I personally use quantum boards which are exactly as advertised.
