i have roots starting to grow through tyhe felt pots , both brands too vivo and smartpot

Ya if it's dark they'll get real big, lol. I have mine on trays where light gets underneath though

Imo the cheaper pots tend to do this, but only in a few spots. The more expensive air fabric pots like root trapper 2 pots it didn't happen for me
Makes no difference in growth though

I would hold off for a few more days wiz only been 2 days since topping the girls. There is no rush to remove the underskirt yet unless it really is getting in the way when watering.
