Re: Mentor Request Thread

Will be using Air cooled reflectors so shouldn't be an issue plus I've got an air conditioning/dehumidifier unit and a heater plugged into a climate control unit so temperatures always spot on and corrects itself co2 only works well at higher temps anyway towards the 30s.what brand of chiller did you get if you don't mind me asking and what's the price of it roughly hadn't thought of that one I thought the nutrients had to be around 20 degrees so thought it would be a nutrient heater I would need and not a chiller. Cheers

By the way do you use a nutrient chiller and a nutrient heater for the resivoir?

No just a chiller. I used a heater when I was outside but tbh ambient tamps always high enough :)
The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Hailia or something hc150. I had a 300 but flogged it ages ago.
I keep my nutes at 18.5 set by the chiller, otherwise you risk rot.

No not bud rot, root rot - fully worse. Kills the whole plant 😖
For the sake of £100 or so just get a chiller and some h2o2 like growth tech liquid oxygen :)

Yeah it was bud rot and the plant died pretty quickly afterwards. I've always used the old liquid oxygen in my grows seen a new thing called silver bullet that's out as well meant to kill any pathogens and read your not to use anything organic such as nitrozime or bio heaven which I used to swear by along with super drive and liquid silicone. Could probably still mist it with nitrozime but if any drips n gets in the tank could be a disaster but it's awesome stuff

Just all mine 😂 no one else does nft for some reason :(
I was told the same re organic but I use stuff like Rox in recent grows and other additives and not had issues... Not sure if they are organic or not. I've also used growth tech enhancers that apparently are and not had issues.
