I guess the worse scenario would to be run out height and they grow into the light. Scrogs are great when you are restricted by your height. The idea of a scrog also is to remove the popcorn factor so all the flowers above the net are dense and not airy. The light penetration is rather key to how much height you try and aim for above the canopy with the emphasis on try.

What kbag fella said above is so correct and totally agree. If growing with LEDs i will flip at 80% let hem fill in and hopefully stop them with 10" colas as penetration with LEDs is bad. If you growing hps I'd aim for maixmum of 16" colas and if you're using gavita ..well it's a game changer haha the penetration is great. Another factor to consider in my head is strain. How leafy it is and etc as it also affects penetration..so far it's looking bombastic and i know it's mentored diary but wouldn't I do that to fill 100% and flip

I got 16 inches to play with easy enough more if i can control the heat. As i said I basically wanna see what happens. Kbag i never thought about the fact i got mature cuts, good point but All my plants are alternate nodes now , so its gunna be the same deal across the board. This will be a good test to see how my training skill shape up lol.

Sorry for the lack of updates people. things are going much better now Im listening to my mentor plants are looking tops.Im spending alot of time now training. Alright bring it on , and you know who you ae, i did alot of defol........ All the foliage i had pused under was effecting my tips from growing. Ive done a fair amount of topping as well this week to get more uniformity in my potential colas im almost happy. We are thinking flip Tuesdy/Wednesday
if I dont forget to turn the lights on again, and it will be over 90% full. I rekon next time i can cut down the time its taken to fill by alot. I will update with pics before the flip.

Flip Day

So this ha taken longer than it should. Next time I will top the fek outta em under the T5 and get that screen lower. I feel I could cut at least 2 weeks of the next one. So a lot of topping and stem pinching the last week and a half. We are about 90% full and everything is quite uniform. The next 2 weeks are gunna be pretty hectic id say. Ive taken cuts from the Nemesis just in cae i want to keep working with them. I chopped a nemesis last week, its the first one of 12 ive let go full term. FFS 7-9 weeks according to the breeder, 13 weeks in reality. I will see how long these two in the scrog take and if its 13 weeks I wont grow em again. Also included some pics of my bubble cloner. Very simple it is and very succesful. So its a 13/11 cycle for now, hope the extra light helps control the stretch.
Cheers for looking in.

Cheers Kbag, yep we are quite excited now, If I can control the stretch it will be epic. There are 564 holes in that screen, 90% full gives me around 500 potential colas. Hoping to keep it all below 12 inches. Its either gunna be a fekin mess or a way to end the season. Be getting another pedestal fan in there in a couple of days. I added a 6in intake fan, and that knocked a couple degrees of as Im already at 29c average. might stick a fan under the canopy as well.

Touchwood for you hobbit it will be epic. I do like a fan under my canopys just gently pushing the air up through.

I think air movement will be key here , RH is around 50% but a lot of perspiration going on in there.

Yeh i can imagine you might find that you will need to defoliate a little as it hard to get decent air movement to all the leaves in such a thick canopy. Normally if i see transpiration on the leaves or sweating up as i call it i do some gentle defoliation. Tbh i am not a lover of massive defols as i see some growers do.
