The hardest part is finding a spot , I scout out places with google earth then go for a hike , where I am there are a lot of people picking blueberries in the summer so I really make sure there is no sign of people . Next is never take the same path , even if you have to take a way that is much longer.. Don’t want visible trails . 
Try not to step down wild plant life. Watch for signs of animals ( deer , rabbits are the worst ) and bugs 

. I do have a few stealth techniques for deer , like fishing line tied around the outskirts of plot area , they get spooked when the walk into it and can’t see it .
Chilli powder works well sprinkled about to keep off the rabbits 
 
This year had to wait for the tent caterpillars to die off . Only bugs I have to worry about so all clear on that end for this year . 
My other contender is the piggies in there helicopters so I like to have a light canopy of hardwood trees above . Atm I’m getting about 15hrs of direct light every day .
