It could do with another week or two depending on taste, but I like em ripe and at their PEAK THC level... That amber shit can get in the bin.

It does baffle me that folks brag about 25-30% THC strains then they leave them to go past that level for another 2 weeks and let the stuff degrade.

7 weeks flip to chop, some fair weight on the lass. I'm happy with it, I have a few dozen of these beans so I'll run them again and find a couple of decent parents to make some more. (That's if she toots ok).

She's been at over 30*C in the drying cubbby, Got a lovely smell of hay going on at the moment. I should have just left her in the sun for 2 days and then jarred her up.



Meh, I'll let her hang till that smell has gone then just whack her in vac bags and into the fridge for a month or two.

I'll have a dope break this week now and try a top at the weekend and see how she's done. Her mom was a nice floaty giggler, very functional high.

I've had quick dry problems in this heat. Although talking to a friend from South Africa they were saying that the sativa weed that grows everywhere, they dry it in the sun for a couple of days and smoke it straight away.

I think this method may suit sativa leaning weed perhaps. How do you find the high from quick dried weed?

Hi Tictok, quick dried dope i find to be the same high as slow dried but the flavour is off and you can taste the chlorophyll in it. It loses that underlying funk I like.

I've had sun dried in Jamaica and it was smashing, flavour and smell were spot on and the high was scary as fuck too.

I have dried a couple of outdoor autos under a gazebo once and they did pong a bit, even when bone dry but they were a bit too dry for a good cure so they ended up being put in the hash washer.
I really should have tried to hang this outside I think, but I've had workmen popping in here and there and nextdoor is always over the fence having a nose too. I feel like I'm living in a goldfish bowl round here. Nosey fuckers.

But I'll let this hang till things start snapping then get on with trying to cure it. It'll still do what it does, but the flavour may take a while to come back, hence why I'll stick it in the fridge for a slow cure in vac bags. Yeah, it'll look like brick weed but it's only for me and I can always grow another one in the winter when I know I can finish the job proper.

Nice work M. It's actually given me some confidence that even the quick drying tknl5h should work out ok, the boveda packs got it back to 63% from a woeful 54% when it overdried and now it's back to smelling like guava, so should work out.

I've ballsed up the last 2 runs on the drying, but the smell is slowly coming back on the bits I have in jars. Open the jar and it smells of not much but dry dope, but as soon as the bud is bust open I can get my nose in there and it smells fine. Just not as funky as it should.

Living in a new part of the world and trying to dial in stages of the grow is always fun though. As is dealing with the locals.

At least the water is half decent round here... and some of the ewes keep giving me a sexy over the shoulder look when I'm waking the dog.
