Spamming is good, very nice mukka. So will you just let plant do its thing now or do a bit of defoliation ?
Thank you kindly, sir.
I'm going to let it ride until I'm 100% sure stretch has stopped, then i might chop a couple of the bigger leaves if they're blocking too much light.
Probably won't pull much out as im not convinced it makes too much of a difference, but there is a lot of foliage so i guess we shall see.

I did a fairly big old scrog a few years back now and i left leaves on above screen, the plants were around 8 to 12 inches above screen. Anyhow long n short of it i removed everything below screen and nothing from above, biggest fuck of my life, well nearly :roll eyes: , but yes their was tons and tons of really nice sized buds at screen level that were just airy crap good for making concentrates etc. But in hindsight i now know if id removed all big fan leaves after stretch and again around 7 weeks in those airy crappy buds would have been a shit load of solid fuckers. Shit happens though hey... 8-)

I get a bit panicky with defoliation. Between being terrified of shocking her into herm and not wanting to have adverse effects on yield if i go too mad, it just stresses me out. The drobe is my only place of solace in the house (I dont even get peace and quiet on the bog anymore, bloody kids.lol) so i tend to be as gentle as i can in flower.
With each plant being new in every run it is hard to know how different strains are going to react. Keeps things interesting though i guess.
I'll have a stab at it this weekend, we'll see how brave i get lol.

I wouldn't worry about it i think most hermies can be more genetics and its very rare you`ll get a fem hermie seed these days, I've seen more reg beans hermie than fems. But also yes it can be stress related but by that i mean more light leaks or too much heat from canopy being too close to a light. Theirs good and bad stress and a light defoliation id put under the good bracket when its done veg or early in bloom. I think only typo stress that it could cause is to knock plants back a few days or a week but if you dont remove more than a 3rd this typo stress will be minimal. I always give them a good drink after a defoliation or any stressing session.

Maybe goggle "good and bad stressing of a cannabis plant" and im sure summink interesting will pop up to read, but i think benefits outweigh none benefits especially when scrogging for bigger yields. The leaves grow back quick enough then all you have to do is just remove odd few leaves once a week. Well unless your me i just do it again around 7 weeks in all at once if it needs doing or if i feel need and im not being a lazy git.

We can remove up to a 3rd of plant material or their about without causing hardly any stress, if at all any stress on bigger fair sized or bigger plants like that your growing. Summink I've never worried about tbh and I've always abused plants good style, but I've never had a hermie weed plant touch wood and all that shit.

Your shout end of shift mukka so tis last i shall say on subject Herby man. 8-)

Day 24 of 12/12

Although it doesn't look like it, i have done a rather large defoliation. Took out a full carrier bag of leaves. Been plodding along well enough, plain water yesterday, about 8ltrs. Will probably need watering again around Tuesday/Wednesday and will get 0.5/0.6ml/ltr of the end from GHO. Not much really to report on, trouble free so far.(touch wood) cheers fpr looking in.

Thank you, kind sir. I did want to fill it just a little more, but my impatience got the better of me. Had been vegging for something like 76 days. Couldn't wait any longer. I want it to be ready to smoke for christmas lol.

Day 36 of 12/12
Been a little while since my last update. Been laid up with flu. The propper stuff, not just man flu.
Had a situation last week where we had a power cut for 3.5 hours after 3 hours of light on.
:suicide:

As you can see, i have a bit of yellowing going on. I will get a photo with lights off tomorrow morning for a better look. She's been getting about 0.5/0.6ml per litre should i up it a bit maybe? :idn: also got a lil bit of mag def going on so i guess i didn't plough enough in through foliar feeding while vegging.

Cheers for popping in y'all
