So.... Learned a couple valuable lessons about rockwool so far. Like hobbit warned me about, it holds water extremely well. With my rockwool so deep in the net pot, bubble spray has been constantly soaking the rockwool basically depriving the seedling of oxygen. It's still alive and well, just droopy and looks like a very overwatered plant.
Dropped the water level wayyy down, to where the roots are just barely getting misted. I guess once the roots get bigger and block the rockwool I'll raise the water level back up. But until then, slow and steady

Needless to say, I'm going bare roots into the hydroton next time, fuck rockwool

Made a tough decision today and decided to shit can the chem og seedling, it was slowly growing roots but that rockwool being wet for so long definitely fucked everything up.
Oh well, live and learn. That's what it's all about right

Took one of my green crack clones, rinsed all the dirt off the rootball and then fed it through the net cup and put her in the tub.

Feel your pain mate. I had this result plenty of times and did same as you , ripped em out lol. If it makes you feel better i struggled to get em going in the big sytem full stop. I tried putting a small amount of coco on top of the pebbles and germinating this way, worked fine but i still struggled on how wet the pebbles got for some reason. Root growth was slow and plants showed signs of over watered. Next time im gunna sprout in coc and wash it off when the roots get going and net pot it. Or cuts from a bubble cloner. You got a root shot for this one?
