5 weeks since flip today...

Shorter pheno of Guerilla Fume..

Smells of lemon cleaner but is getting more astringent.

Strong plant, thick leaves, been a dream to grow..

Weekly update on the living soil comparison.

I predicted some challenges with the living soil being in just a 12ltr pot. We are now just starting week 7 and the living soil NL is showing lighter coloured leaves and some sort of deficiency. I've taken this pheno at 8 weeks before so I'm not that worried and will monitor.

The bottled nutes NL, while smaller has heavier flowers that have had to be staked.

Living soil right, bottled nutes left..

Living soil deficiency....

That said, the living soil NL had it's last topdress three days ago, so this may fix the deficiency as the amendments get into the soil. I'm going to leave it as is for monitoring purposes. Next run I will increase the amendments during flower.

In other news the Guerilla Fume is looking sexy.....

Thank you @2-Scoops , appreciated.

Crazy to think the NLs were two identical clones at the start, very different expressions, just the feeding method is different. The weigh-in will be interesting, i cannot call it right now.

The pheno is not a big yielder, averaging 1.5oz normally on the bottled nutes, although the flowers on the bottled nutes this time are larger. Who knows?!

Thanks @duke, it is an interesting debate but one I'm not qualified to join as I've only ever grown in mud.

Probably smoked/vaped loads of coco grown street weed and my soil grown has been infinitely better, but it's not a fair comparison as my homegrown gets a lot of love and a proper cure as it's for headstash/medical.

The seemingly constant watering of litres and litres a day in coco has put me off (I cannot entertain a res where I am) but then it seems in living soil you have to keep the soil moist so I'm watering more, but little and often! Did I think of coco when I'm watering living soil every day, yes I did!

Using artificial salt based fertilisers I will admit has also put me off but it's been a long learning process in soil and I'm not totally out of the woods (my late flower game has sucked getting watering and even bottled nutes right).

I'm just a beginner, this being only my second proper year, but this grow has been an improvement.

Cheers for dropping by.

Here's a HashplantD (ChemdogD x 88G13HP) from Bodhi just starting 4th week since flip. Bottled Canna Organic nutes, needs some more feed and ChemD is apparently calmag hungry and it is showing a bit, so will give it some 'organic' calmag from Biobizz (been the best calmag supplement I've found).

Must be a ChemD leaner due to the stretch?

This has been very interesting indeed.

You plan on doing another run then? Sounds good to me.

Thanks and yes, I've been running the same NL clone for nearly 1.5yrs so it will run again.

I have cuts of the two Guerilla Fume along with cuts of two males. Never chucked pollen before but have to do a seed increase next run. So that will be interesting. Need to work out if I can flower the males separately, collect the pollen so I can dust a branch or two next round. Sounds easy eh?!
