End week 6

First signs of deficiencies appearing. Could be a mix of rootbound, hungry for more light, or finally hungry for some grub. Cuz of this I gave em 1/4 strength of foxfarm big bloom last week to see if they liked it or not and then gave em 1/2 strength big bloom/big bud this week.

By the way, anyone else notice that if you adjust pH of some tap water one day, then check it again the next day that the reading can go up 0.5 clicks higher than when you set it? Im finding this to be odd. Anywho…

Love the starting area for them! Looking nice too.. they should react well with the Big Bloom but be careful when using Tiger Bloom. That shit is the real deal lol.

Thanks for the tip. I havent used that bottle yet but even the grow big packed a serious wollop. Will go slow when first mixing it in. And yea I built the seedling chamber when I was drunk one night. Had all the parts lying about and finally threw em together haha. Works decent for recycled parts. Prolly cost me less than $150 altogether.

End week 7

Ok finally graduated to teenage status Id say. They looking confident but lord knows when they gonna have a meltdown.

During transplant I fed them once again a 50:50 mix of the grow big and big bloom at ~1000 ppm pH’d to 6.4. I have also watered them in well all around the pot with just pH’d water.

Funny thing is I have been waiting to get my hands on a heater for the flower chamber so had to pot them up and stuff em back in the prop tent for a few days.





Finally the teenagers got to move into the bigger room in the house.




They are still both really close in morphology but one is more compact while the other is slightly larger.

I put the larger one under the invisible sun BR100 amd the compact one under the ecofarm 440




Hoping 2-3 weeks then flip

End week 8.

Seeds popped Jan 28
Sprouts emerged Feb 1
Potted into trainer pot Feb 5
Potted into final pot Mar 19

This is 2 months of growth using only foxfarm ocean forest soil and their nute line. I havent felt the need to feed much using this setup yet. Trainer pots were 16 oz solo cups and the plants had plenty of food from that volume of this mix for like 5 weeks. And to be fair the roots were just beginning to circle the bottom. I gave a quarter strength and then a half strength around week 5+6. I gave a 1000 ppm feed to the plant right before transplanting. Ive only watered these once and that was after 9 days post placement.

I took the most bottom node growth off. In the future I think Id like to trim up at least 2 nodes to give a little more working room. I knicked one of the top shoots from the blurple plant but it should fill in quick enough.

Still getting used to these LEDs. Not seen any light damage yet so fingers crossed. Crankin up slightly more every day.
