Re: London Velvet Cake by Conscious Genetics
Really impressed with the vigor of the LVC from Conscious Genetics. Need to transplant to the 10 gal pots soon. Just no room in veg yet, and need flower pots or I needa make one more 10 gal pot. We’ll see what happens but I expect them to be in flower in about one month.

Re: London Velvet Cake by Conscious Genetics
Thanks Momma. When I pot up I placed the plant at the top of the bucket or container. So a 1 gallon pot has, roughly, 1 gallon of soil under the plant.Momma bear wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 12:50 amHoly hell Anova look at those ladies!! I’m trying to GML top the meristem of the plants. That way the other branches can come up or the whole plant can widen.

Transplanted to 10 gal pots, these will hit the flower chamber in, roughly, 27 days. Before up-potting, the 1-gal pots were starting to need water every other day.

Re: London Velvet Cake by Conscious Genetics
Pot on the right was completely hydrophobic when I transplanted, drying out over the months of nonuse. I definitely hope they improve over the next few weeks.

Re: London Velvet Cake by Conscious Genetics
Rule 1 of organic gardening. Do not let your media dry out :) As soon as your soil dries out, you will completely destroy the microlife in the soil and the plants won't be able to feed. If I was going to go down the organic root I'd water little and often and with a high pressure spray head to prevent soil compaction.
