Re: Minty Grow Diary - GR420 LED Grow Off
Rather than keep cross posting I am going to link to the recent update on the Invisible Sun LED Grow Off
Basically I failed, what with the root rot etc. and only having a week or so before the comp finishes etc. but because of that comp, I found you dudes, and for that reason alone I am thankful (even with MrNice and Elija - Melon biatches - still having active forum accounts ;O)
Love all you guys for all the helpful guidance and just a fun place to hangout and talk about weed ;o) Love it.

Re: Minty Grow Diary - GR420 LED Grow Off
Now there's a thought, just have it powered with the light

I did find a pinhole spy camera with no ir and WiFi for £15
Wouldn't colour them as I wouldn't be confident in it, we all know how seriously thing's can go wrong with light leaks
I just want to make it as safe as possible cos if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all

If it can go wrong then it usually does with me

A friend in need is a friend indeed but a friend with weed is better

Wow, see what you mean with temp, is there anyway of getting an external draw to your AC to help with cooling?

Yea, pretty harsh up there, that is with a two dedicated 4" extract roof tiles (one that was previously being used to feed fresh air in - and did lower the temps etc) had to be moved to a dedicated extract for the air in the loft space alone (to allow the water chiller to at least work)- the other 4" is dedicated behind the carbon filter to extract heat from the tent itself (where the sensor is).highpeakkoi wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 10:36 pmWow, see what you mean with temp, is there anyway of getting an external draw to your AC to help with cooling?
It's a total nightmare up there at the moment and I am winging it for now just trying to get 'some smoke'.
Plan is to insulate the loft area, use a 6" dedicated RAM fan running on slow to extract air from the loft while feeding the main tent with 'fresh' air from the bathroom - basically sucking air via the shower extract fan into the tent.
That should all help and making little changes to the parts I can and basically making do with what I have before dialling in an environment where If I need to I will start growing specific strains at different parts of the year to help cope with the 'not so frequent' heat waves we currently get in the UK but I do think it is only going to get worse so gonna keep dialling in that environment for now.
