Re: Samwise does Humboldt Green Crack
Hi Folks,
So very quick update, as I done a res change last night, the 3 remaining plants are now on un-Ph'd water, I have added 5 tablespoons of cane mollases to the 50 litres in the res.
I will probably end up adding 20 litre Sunday/Monday, and rather than doing a res change Wednesday I will probably just add 20 litres to see me through to the Friday, when I will be chopping the 3. I will add mollases at a Tbsp per every 10 litres through flush.
I will add some pictures at the weekend, but not long now till the tent will be clear.
Hopefully this weekend the first plant will be dry enough to weigh and jar up, should give me an indicator as to the rough haul off these.
These have been at 500w all grow, but in the last week I will drop them back to 400w, as they wont be putting on much weight now.
Have a good week folks :)

Re: Samwise does Humboldt Green Crack
Hi Tom,
The mollases essentially carry out the same job in coco, as they do with soil, which is two fold:
1. They create enzymes that will still feed the flowering plant
2. In coco, mollases also block nitrogen nitrate, hydro/coco nutes are 90% nitrogen N.
Soil nutes are generally the other way round, as in 10% nitrogen nitrate, 90% nitrogen A.
So essentially the mollases help to feed the flowers, whilst still flushing the plants, but also block 90% of any nitrogen that maybe stored in the coco. I will link a good article below reference the use of mollases:
http://www.npk-university.com/resources ... ASSES.html
But essentially I think of it as an organic finisher to flower :)

Re: Samwise does Humboldt Green Crack
IMO, I can't see the point in adding Co2 unless you're in a controlled environment. As soon as you put it in, the extractor fan will be drawing it out. It'll be more effective if you did 5 minutes of star jumps, then breath all over your plants.
Never give advice. Wise men don't need advice. Fools won't take it.

Yes i would have a sealed room of some kind with extraction on at lights off and maybe set periods threw out the day.
