Good afternoon GrowRoom420
Everything is ticking along nicely in there.
Flowers are feeding good on EC of 1.2 and pH 6.1
to 110L of water I've added
110 ml of Hammerhead
80 ml of Canna A&B.

Hello guys,
thought I'd share my story with the CDM lights. When I went up to feed the girls at around 21.00 on Wednesday Night I found out that the middle bulb is not working. I've looked it and the balloon inside the glass was a bit darker than usual. Then I've heard funny noise from ballast and the bulb flashed, trying to be sparked. Lasted about 6-8 seconds and turned off.

I've swapped things round and put one of the other bulbs on that same ballast and it did the same - didn't spark the bulb so I quickly removed it before it get screwed again.

I guess like all electrics these have faulty units too. By the looks of it the ballast is faulty and been trying to spark the bulb too many times, causing damage to it. So've replaced the middle ballast and bulb with my Lumatek Digital Ballast and 600w Hps bulb. and I've been running 315 w 600w 315 w. Next day I've phoned GroWell hydro shop where I bought the lights from and explained the situation. They've kindly offered to replace the bulb & ballast and collect the old ones. So I've just got new ones delivered and going to get back to normal tonight.

Mixed spectrum between 2 x 315 w on each side of 600w hps looks really cool but in general it's loosing it's meaning of energy saving. 3 x 315 are only 945 w while running 2 x 315 + 600w hps will be 1290 in total. Really tempted but I guess that might be a future experinment.
Some people are claiming that running few of these lights together you can reach 2gpw and I am really interested if you can actually reach that!

Another trial for me will be running 2 x 315 w + Invisible Sun QB in the middle. That should be a epic view too.

Good afternoon GrowRoom420.
It's bloody windy out there! Anyway hope you're all well tucked in in a warm place smoking herb!

This grow is at cruise speed now Feeding well at EC of 1.2 pH 6.2.
I only add 1 ml per L Hammerhead now and 0.75 ml per L A&B.
Lights on temps are about 23-4 maximum and lights off are 19/20 without running a heater.
It is what it is I will let you see the video and decide for yourselves.
Thank you for looking!
