Its not less light, useable light is measured in Umols not Lumens where LED's are concerned.

measuring in lm doesnt tell you hopw many photons are being producerd per second and how many per watt

Not sure bulls, I dont like over 28C tbh mate.
I do know I will be swapping one HPS over for the 2 LED when I can ( folk over ) and see how the temp goes with that.

The heat output from hps compares to a LED is huge mate...my cobs make hardly no difference tbh

Ok so this is a bit of a supprise..... 2 of the 250w covering 2 plants each

1 600w hps covering 4 plants

The HPS is 100% hotter, no argument, you can feel it radiating now its warmed up. I think for my setup I would need 1 more led board for cover.

I cant do that invis, but I may make longer wires and mount the ballasts elsewhere.
