Re: Sir Scrogalots screen of green
ok so apologies for not updating for a while, been mad busy.
So the ladies are 38 days in and 3 out of four are progressing well, the 4th ahem seems to have locked out, it was going crazy for water then just stopped drinking so I may of over watered it. Anyway it is wat it is, its still growing but slower than the rest and by the look sof it will not yield anywhere near the other 3. Its been going lighter green for over a week now, this is the lessons soil can bring though, so ill let it run an whn I harvest the soil will go back into the soil bin to re calibrate its self.
apart from that though the other 3 are smashing it. Despite the casualty im still expecting roughly 1gpw

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Re: Sir Scrogalots screen of green
its in super soil so theres not really much i can do with it, ill try throwing some potash fert in that im using for the two at the back an see if it helps it out, im just concerned about adding more water as it is water logged.Nanook of the north wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 10:35 amlooks peckish to me sir - maybe needs a higher EC than the other 3

Re: Sir Scrogalots screen of green
ok so at 7 weeks just about, my phone broke yesterday so I haven't taken any pics. Ill sort some later on. What I can say though is they are progressing nicely, fattened up well and currently going through what looks like their final swell. 99% the hairs are orange and one of the plants has stopped drinking all together. ill throw some pics up later

Re: Sir Scrogalots screen of green
Iv just realised as well, I dimmed the lights last week because the hairs were all turning orange quickly, i thought i dimmed it slightly but i just checked it an it was 156w lol so its been on 156w for the last week, may as well leave it there now. Im gonna run back through the thread and work out how long i had it at each wattage so i can work out an average.

Re: Sir Scrogalots screen of green
Ok so below is the wattage over specific dates as documented in the thread. Adding it all up it comes to a total of 1820.w watts over an 8 week period. Now i stopped calculations at 8 weeks as that's when ill be looking at harvesting i might let it go to 9 if there is still growth and if i do i'll leave the light at 156w an just tag it on to the calculations. Using the far red initiator puck has definitely sped up the flowering cycle slightly though so im unsure if 9 weeks are needed.
12th Oct – 80w until – 15th Oct
15th Oct - 120w – 24th Oct
24th Oct – 170w – 5th Nov
5th Nov - 222.5w – 15th Nov
15th Now 240w – 21st Nov
21st Now - 228w – 27th Nov
27th Nov - 240w – 1st Dec
1st Dec – 201w - 4th Dec
4th Dec - 240w – 15th Dec
15th Dec – 156w – 30th Dec
Result - over 8 weeks 1820.5w / 8 = 227.56 watts this means that over the light was on average running at 227.56w so we can base the GPW ratio against this.
Result over 9 weeks with the light being left at 156w for another 7 days until the 7the dec 1820.5w / 9 = means that the light was running an average of 202.27watts over the 9 week period.
This is obviously basic averages and not pinpoint accuracy, my head hurts trying to go any further with it haha
12th Oct – 80w until – 15th Oct
15th Oct - 120w – 24th Oct
24th Oct – 170w – 5th Nov
5th Nov - 222.5w – 15th Nov
15th Now 240w – 21st Nov
21st Now - 228w – 27th Nov
27th Nov - 240w – 1st Dec
1st Dec – 201w - 4th Dec
4th Dec - 240w – 15th Dec
15th Dec – 156w – 30th Dec
Result - over 8 weeks 1820.5w / 8 = 227.56 watts this means that over the light was on average running at 227.56w so we can base the GPW ratio against this.

Re: Sir Scrogalots screen of green
That's interesting Sir,
Are we calculating GPW ratio using the leccy used during veg too?
I've always done it using the flower Watts only but very interesting to see. How are the ladies looking too?
