You don't sound like a noob grower grumpy! I'm subbed.

Great to see some different genetics.
I've been told that a few times here. I'm just lucky and read a shit load. Trust me I'll mess something up one day no doubt :)

most informed noob ever lol!

i really enjoy your diaries dude. the detail says pro but the excitement of growing says new to hands on growing :D

keep pushing the envelop dude. its nice to see how different techniques can still pull great yields when applied correctly and in combo with reading your plants well. keep it up dude

Hi GG.

Hope these do well for you.
I've managed to snag 5 beans from plants originating from Hawaii in the 80's recently, bred by a dude called Buzzard. Hawaiian Hashplant.
Linky... https://kwikseeds.com/2019/10/buzzards- ... -landrace/
I've got a fridge full of landrace beans and really need to get my finger out and find a keeper.

But yeah, I'll be keeping a close eye on this. You going to be making little baby seeds with a plant or two?

:oik!:
Hey Marcus,

Thanks for dropping in and taking a look. Those beens look mouthwatering! Love a bit of Puna fire :)

I might be as I'm pushed for space. I'll playbit by ear. The plan was to sex and take some pollen off the cuttings I'll be using to sex these but I'm not sure if it will fit in with everything else I got going on here. I have all the required tools and a plan of action so if timing is on my side, I may inbreed these and store the seeds for a later date.

Hey GR420,

Popping in for the weeky update. These plants are on their way now. I had to stop the timelapse stuff until I can find a decent app. The one I've been using only lets me go down to 1fps. It would be a very long video at that rate. I hope to continue next week.

They're on a small amount of feed now. The water isn't draining well out of these little pots so I'm assuming the roots have packed out the soil. I'm going to repot these into their 3ltr pots with batmix and coco next week also. There is a small amount of leaf curl but they're growing fine and looking healthy. The runt is behind the rest including the seedlings that were planted after it.

Still on the Dr Danks, Alga-C, URB bacteria and the odd bit of root stim-1 and they've just been started on 1ml/l of Plagron Alga Grow.

I'm going to try and hold them back until the large tent is clear but they're picking up the pace. I'm worried that these are going to be cramped before the switcharoo. Fingers crossed.

I've also purchased one of those wireless Xaiomi temp/humidity sensors. I like them because they can be monitored from my phone and keep a running log of data. If anyone is interested, here's a link. They're all over ebay and amazon and they go for about £8

Here are some photos. I think they look very Indica with those broad leaves. What do you think?

Evening GR420,

Just a small update on this diary this week. I've re-potted these into the 3ltr pots using a slightly rich 60/40 mix of Plagron Bat Guano and Gold Label Coco. My last lot were hungry after only a couple of weeks and I'm thinking I was over enthusiastic with the coco. My first grow here was in around a 60/40 mix so I figured that's the sweet spot. They were re-potted Saturday and was watered in with 5ml/ltr Alga-C, 1ml/ltr Dr Danks SBS, 1ml/ltr House & Garden root-stim1, 1ml/ltr URG beneficials and the usual 1ml/ltr of Canna CaMg as I'm running RO. No nutrients should be needed for at least 3 weeks (I hope).

They're looking happy but a little cramped. The light is far too high and they're also streching a bit. I'm going to pop the light on a couple of ez-rolls so I can bring it down to suit. I want to try and hold these back for at least another month before I will be in a position to move them into their forever home. These are also regulars so I have no idea how many females there will be. I could end up with one plant or nine. The breeder confirmed these will double at least in stage one of flowering. I'm not going to pinch these but rather let them hit around 12-18 inches and cut em in half. If I pinch now, they will start to fill out and end up packing the tent. That's the plan anyway. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them? It's been a struggle for me to keep things rotating with the small tent. I'm in two minds to go grab another 1m2 tent and rotate the tents rather than moving things along and use the small tent to feed them both. But I'm also concious that I may have far too much weed in 6 months and will have to start throwing it away :)

Anyway, as always, here are a few photo's of the potentials. Even the runt is starting to pick up. The phenotypes seem pretty unified to me so far. Leaf structure, vigor and smells are all very similar. There are a couple that smell stronger than the rest and #5 stinks like proper skunk kush. One or two are bolting and look at bit bullish so I'm assuming they're males but I'd have to sex them to be sure. Until next time.

Jesus GG - I missed this one - I will read it when I have a spare week off ;)
Interested to see how they perform tbh, seen you in chat a bit umming and arring.
The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Sorry I've not kept up to date with these diaries, I've had quite a bit on over the last couple of weeks.

Don't take advice from me on this lol. These have outgrown the small tent and some. I've had to chop them in half and hope for the best. I'll be sexing them in the large tent but it's looking like I may need to get another 1m tent to run my full set up. I get caught out every time!

They're not too happy about everything but still growing. They smell gorgeous! Proper skunky :) I'll probably update again when I decide on my next move.

Not a big fan of organic anything. Subbed up mate, about time I learnt more about this natural way of growing.
Welcome along Viz, although I've called this grow organic, it's really organic from a bottle :) I'm like the vegetarian that eats steak once a month.
