Spences rdwc trial with the end from gho

Water temps tend to be around 21-22 when im in there at night. This is shortly before lights off. I assume water temps lower to around 18 when lights of and slowly climb through the day. Room temp around 26.
Was using this system last summer and water temps were hitting 26-27 and still managed to get them to harvest

Plants look healthy are you sure its root issues or just staining from the nutrients? I see this often in dwc when people use Rhizotonic the roots have a brown tinge to them but does affect the growth of the plants.

Yeah there is actually 2 more plants in the system that are harder to get in the pic. There mimosa evo and had to cut 90% of there roots off as too far gone(nearly black). May end up taking them out. They was all mim evo to start with but the mums being an awkward bitch her whole life and the peanut butter cookies was a dream compared and clones rooted so fast it made more sense to switch. Wish i switched them all now lol.

Ph was back up at 6.9 last night so adjusted back down to around 6 and i added another 20ml of the end to bring ec to 1.2. So its approx 70ml the end to 100l of water for 1.2 ec

How sysytem looks empty. Tubs are all connected at the bottom and an external pump pumps water from last tub back to first which only has one plant in and flap on lid so i use that as the res to add and check levels and can easily keep an eye on the roots on that one plant which gives me an idea how they all look underneath

Would this be a false EC reading @gho what with the ferts containing organic goodies as well. I would think theirs actually more feed in that mix than the 1.2EC it measures or am i tripping ? Cheers.

I did wonder about this when i first put the pen in but felt it sounded about right. See what gho thinks. Will have to do more water changes if the ec pen is out. Im normally quite lazy and go aslong as poss between changes but gets topped up regular as they can guzzle it when in full swing

If it is though im sure you can still use it as guide to know where your at when topping shit up and such like and in effect carry on being quite lazy, cus we luv being lazy.
