I've seen it in our local hybrids..seems to bring a different structure to the long time Colombian stuff that still prevails were at.The haze still dominates the taste and high. Our local stuff is basically Santa Marta ibl at this stage with say a tea spoon of skunk.

Re: Seedstockers Super Skunk & Irie Genetics Rhombus
End of week 2
Everything is groovy. Plants are starting to get third set of leaves. The Super Skunk seem to be slightly ahead of The Rhombus.
Feeding the same mixture of nutrients. Fed on the fourth day from last feed. Fed the 11 cups. That fills the buckets to the 2” level. Got about 50% runoff. I will monitor that until it gets to about 10% and then start feeding on the third day.
BTW..I bottom feed from the top. That is, I don't try to water all across the top of the pots. I just pour slowly down one spot, usually directly across from the drain hole. I've tried both ways and this seems to work well. It also keeps the clay ball cover dry which I consider part of my IPM. Keeps fungus gnats from feeling at home.
I'm also monitoring my ph this grow. I've been using Advanced Nutrients for a few years and trust that is does as advertised and keeps the ph in the proper range. And as far as I can tell it does exactly that. Tap water is coming out right about 7.0 and after mixing nutes I am at 5.8. The reason I'm going to monitor is that I had a problem with two plants last grow where I got brown spots on fan leaves. Seemed to affect upper fan leaves and middle fan leaves that saw direct light. First question everyone asked was “what was the ph?”. So if something like that happens again I can rule out a ph problem. I had the tool I just got complacent (lazy?).

Looking good Grumpy. I like the thinking behind the way youbare watering. Sounds spot on for keeping fungus gnats on their toes.

Re: Seedstockers Super Skunk & Irie Genetics Rhombus
End of week 3
Plants are all looking healthy and growing at a good rate.
I upped the nutrients slightly. Now at 1.1 EC. Also added in some Mammoth P to mix. Still watering/feeding every fourth day. Lights, temps and humidity are all still the same. Still running a humidifier in the lung room.
Not much else to report. Happy Growing.

End of week 4
Everything is chugging along very steady. For the most part no change in nutes, temps or humidity. VPD is running right in the sweet spot without much intervention.
Topped all the plants yesterday. Plan on flipping to 12/12 in two weeks.
It is interesting watching the three Super Skunk plants. They remind me of Goldilocks and the three bears. I have one that is tall and lanky, one that is short and squat and one right in the middle. ;-)

Hempy bucket & DWC is the only way I have grown. But I have a Northern Lights growing in Happy Frog for the bonsai grow off. Fingers crossed.
