Little Guy Having Some Issues - Advice Appreciated

Post by SmokeyJoe »

Hey People

This one has got a little unhappy. Seemed to happen when i added extraction fan for around 24 hours on sealed tent. Had quite a lot of negative pressure, nut sure much air was sucking in through any gaps.

When I noticed the issue there was also some kind of air movement happening as this one was swaying in the 'wind'.

Anyhoo seems ok ish since i turned off the fan, ill need to sort some inbound and outbound fans to prevent too much neg pressure.

Am i good to snip off those leaves or.... should i leave, defo getting worse. It was only on the middle part of the leaf to start with. Dont want them affecting the rest of the plant.

Cheers in Advance

SmokeyJoe.

probably air directed straight at her by the tent intake dring her right up causing a low RH at that area , put an elbow pointing down on the intake .

there may be another issue but fix that first and well go from there .

what stystem ? lights ,nutes , e.c and ph , temp and rh etc , could be a host of issues also .

A lights off pic gives me a better idea as the lights screws everything up

You dont need another inlet fan you just need one of these or summink like this climate/temp control https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SMSCOM-MK2-S ... SwXtNaYLDu You can jiggle settings around to suite so shit doesnt suck too much air, very simple to set and work and just check out some utube vids iff unsure. 8-)

Tbh i wouldn`t be worrying too much about extraction for a few weeks till its a bit bigger, but that`s me :roll eyes:

Thanks for the replies.

Nutes are all good 7.5ml each (Flora Trio) for just over 40L Water, PH 6.2. Have 2 Plants and other is fine, defo feel it was the 'wind' generated by the fan upset it. Other plant is spot on.

Ill leave the leaves on then, at least until i notice any 'spreading' of the issue.

Have a great day all.

Yeah they seemed happy when I was bringing fresh air in from outside. Only let it run a while tho cos air was cold.

Issue here was when I did the opposite, I reversed the fan and pulled air out. Think I emptied the tent lol and not sure why it made the plant move.

It was like I was blowing wind at the plant but fan was pulling air.

Anyhoo. I won't add any e tra tion again till the bigger and when I do I will also have some intake set up as natural gaps and in the tent are obv not enough.

Thanks again.

Hey up people

Rather than start a new thread i thought i carry on with this one.

Update on my 2 ladies. Left one looks spot on, probably ready for topping, never done that before and dont want to ruin the best plant so keep putting it off.

The right one is not doing so well again, partly my bad. I didnt notice the light was angled on its mount towards the left plant so it was in the shade somewhat for a few days. Got her back in the light and she seems to be happier.
However im noticing more issues with the leaves. Pics Below.

Dont think its PH, Nutes etc as its RDWC so both getting same feeds. I did cut off the leaves (sown earlier in this thread) a while ago but its now happening on other leaves. I have added my carbon filter now tho as they were smelling a little.

Slight neg pressure but not major.

Any Comments appreciated as always my fellow growers.
